章 28: start of Body training
After returning from the library, Elina and Lucius decided to postpone their training for a day and take some rest. The next day, they found themselves standing in an open ground, ready to begin their training.
"Now, Lucius, let's start from the beginning. You can't use incantations, but you can use non-incantation magic," Elina instructed.
"I understand, mother," Lucius nodded.
"From now on, I won't be able to teach you the proper way to use non-incantation magic, but I'll help you train your body and mana so you can use magic without passing out," Elina explained.
"Okay, let's begin your training," Elina said with a smile. "Go and run 5 rounds around the Duke's mansion."
Lucius's jaw dropped at the daunting task. "Mother, are you serious? You know the Duke's mansion is massive, right?"
"I do, but you need to build up your stamina. Now, stop chatting and start running. I'll be behind you to heal you if needed," Elina said firmly.
Despite his worries, Lucius began to run. An hour later, he pleaded, "Mother, I can't run anymore. I need water."
Elina summoned water and provided it to Lucius while he continued running. "Keep going, you haven't even completed one round yet," she encouraged.
Hours passed, and Lucius felt exhausted. "Mother, I don't have any energy left. Please, let's stop," he begged.
"No, only one round is completed. Keep going and use your mana to provide energy," Elina instructed.
With Elina's guidance, Lucius pushed through the pain and exhaustion, using his mana to fuel his body. Eventually, he completed the rounds, feeling drained but accomplished.
"You took about 6 hours and 20 minutes to complete all the rounds," Elina informed him.
After days of repeating the grueling training, Lucius gradually improved his time and stamina. Months later, he could complete the rounds in just 4 hours.
"In a month, you've shortened the time limit from 6 hours 20 minutes to 4 hours. Congratulations! From now on, you'll do 100 pushups after running," Elina congratulated him.
Lucius diligently followed the new routine, and after years of relentless training, he became exceptionally strong and resilient. By the age of 8, he could run 20 rounds around the mansion while carrying others on his back and performing hundreds of pushups effortlessly.
As Lucius honed his physical abilities, Leona and Athena joined him in their magical training. While they learned spells using incantations, Lucius focused on mastering non-incantation magic, absorbing mana from his surroundings to enhance his abilities.
After five years of intense training, Lucius finally attempted to use his magic. With Elina's guidance, he summoned a massive fireball, surprising everyone with his skill.
"Son, perhaps make it smaller, like a ball," Elina suggested.
Lucius adjusted the size of the fireball and demonstrated his control by manipulating its shape and intensity. As night fell, he continued to practice effortlessly, showcasing his newfound mastery over magic.
"From tomorrow, continue your regular training and explore different types of magic. You'll need to learn on your own from library books since I can't teach you non-incantation magic," Elina advised.
Lucius thanked his mother for her years of dedication and hugged her tightly before retiring to his room, ready to embark on the next chapter of his magical journey.
