Jules's pov

As Blaze answered the call, my heart was lodged in my throat as a lot of thoughts ran through my mind at the same time.

"Did you do this? You purposely leaked this news from the onset, didn't you?" Blaze spoke into the phone without stalling or wasting time and I dragged my palm over my face as I began to feel dizzy from my lack of breath.

I could hear Blaze's father laughing on the other side of the phone, like this was some sort of sick game.

"I proposed a deal to you the last time we spoke, didn't I?" He finally responded and I frowned in confusion while Blaze snarled in irritation.

"Fuck you and whatever your deal is." Blaze shot back and his father chuckled again.
