      "What?" I echoed out just as Labyrinth stiffened atop me, body growing rigid.

Roy rolled his eyes after that, while my heart raced miles.

"Don't tell me you haven't realized it? The signs are right there, look at how clingy you've been since yesterday." He continued with an arched eyebrow and as I let my mind zero in on my attitude towards my mate since yesterday after our bond got tampered with, I realized that I had been acting wey possessive than usual. 

"But… it's not due until…" I trailed off, suddenly feeling confused. 

My last rut felt like a long time ago and I began to wonder how I managed to completely lose track of something as important as this.
