Jules' pov

I let out an ear splitting scream as I stumbled away from the bed, heart pounding harshly against my chest as I stared at the lifeless body in the bed.

Tears poured down my face as I moved my trembling hands across my gaping mouth. I couldn't believe my eyes, I couldn't believe what I was currently witnessing right now.

How could he be dead? Who killed him?

The scream I let out this time was muffled in my shaking hands and with stumbling breaths, I moved closer to the bed, my entire limbs trembling as I stopped beside the bed to stare down at him. His eyes were still wide open and more tears rolled down my eyes as I fell to my knees beside the bed.

As I reached out and closed his eyes, tears silently poured down my face. His face was cold underneath my hand and I couldn't even tell how long he had been dead.
