Jules' pov
I wiggled my fingers again as the image of magic shooting from my fingers flashed against the front of my mind. That had really happened. Even though a lot of things are currently weird, I was very sure I hadn't imagined that happening.
Or was it a trick of the light?
I stretched my hand forward and willed on a burst of magic, but nothing happened. I did it a few more times before letting out another frustrated sigh.
Had I really imagined that happening?
With another frustrated sigh, I sank down on the grass, folding my legs underneath my body. I wasn't sure of what to do next, or how to get out ot this weird space whereby I was the only one in it.
refer back to chapter 77 to reread the ending part from Blaze’s pov. before y’all ask if this is a prophecy, it is (im willingly giving away this spoiler because none of you would see it coming anyway). this is also the *dream* fated mates needs to get as confirmation. we all know Blaze got his from the onset, our late bloomer Byrinth is just getting his own now.
