      I should have known this would happen, knowing that Blaze's sense of smell was extremely sharp.

Fuck.

I bit on my bottom lip, feeling too tongue tied to speak. When he dragged his nose down the curve of my throat again, I let out a low breath and gripped his shoulders tightly.

"I can detect his scent on you a little, I can pick up that fucker's scent anywhere." Blaze continued and I swallowed emptily, having nowhere to run or turn to since I was currently in his arms.

"I didn't met up with him per se." I finally responded, which was partially the truth.

"I was hanging out with my friend when he came to me, and he said he wanted to talk to me. I declined the offer but when he kept insisting, I agreed and we spoke by a cafe."
