      "You're being delusional, Landon." I snapped, feeling extremely irritated and also insanely jealous of the fact that he was outrightly admitting to wanting my man.

"I'm being realistic, honey. We both know who actually deserves Blaze between the two of us." He continued and I scoffed as I took a step away from him.

"I'm presented already. I come from an influential family. I'm quite powerful and you're well, you're just you. Unpresented, no worthy background, and a liability." As he spoke, even though I tried not to let his words get to me, some still managed to hit me right in the eye.

Does Blaze see me as a liability? 

I silently asked myself as I tried not to let anything I was currently feeling become visible across my face, because that's definitely gonna fuel Landon up even more.
