I didn't understand why the sight of Blaze having his arms around those two guys left a bitter taste in my mouth. It was a weird, foreign feeling which I've never experienced before.

One of the guys leaned up to whisper something into Blaze's ear and I felt my stomach squeeze painfully. I was still frozen in the same spot, which was why when Blaze glanced my way, our eyes locked.

I blinked once before turning away and exhaling slowly.

He can do whatever he wants, Jules, and it doesn't concern you. He's dangerous, remember. You should be glad that he isn't currently breathing down your neck and was instead keeping himself busy with those two guys.

I reminded myself as I tried to block that weird, bitter feeling away.
