Even with my heart lodged in my throat and my stomach being in tight knots, I swallowed emptily as I slowly lifted my head up, gaze dragging over his ripped stomach and chest to pause at his neck.

This was it.

I said to myself while dread consumed every part of my being.

I knew I was technically disobeying him right now by not staring up at him like he had ordered me to, but I just couldn't bring myself to actually do that, seeing as I'd be giving myself away if I do.

"Bunny."

It was a single word which came out lower than I expected, but that made my heart pound even faster. It was the new wave of fear that prompted me into lifting my head up completely, eyes squeezed close.

After a few seconds, I slowly blinked my eyes open and Blaze came into focus after a few moments.

He was staring down at me with his dark eyes, gaze so intense, it made my knees feel like jelly.
