章 35: Rain in summer

The night passed rather uneventfully and more peaceful for them both and in the morning, Alix woke up after Caishen finished taking his bath. As he was leaving the bedroom, she was dressing up quickly to meet him for breakfast. 

He always left at seven thirty unless something interfered with his program and caused him to wake up early or late. 

It was six forty five, and Alix figured that she was not late. 

On the second floor, she found him and Xiaobo at the table, already having breakfast. 

Xiaobo was dressed in his school uniform and his bag was sitting on the chair next to him. Caishen's black kitten was eating out of a bowl in the corner of the room. 

It reminded her of her canaries, was the feed she put in their automatic feeder enough? 

"Goodmorning cute Xiaobo," she greeted the child at the table first. 

"Goodmorning aunt Alix." Xiaobo answered eagerly.
