To the concerns put forward by Fukashi, Kazuki taking another sip from the cup smiled a little and spoke up.
"To address your concerns let me ask you about a few things chief fukashi"
"Please" Gestured Fukashi politely to continue speaking.
"The leaf police force… do you think it has only harmed uchiha and didn't bring them a single benefit? Why do you think that among all the clans in the village the population of the uchiha clearly exceeds others? Did the second hokage truly create the leaf police force just to harm the uchiha?"

After becoming chunin they could become an official member of the leaf police force and becoming jonin granted them the position of a team captain and during all this time they are barely exposed to any danger.
All this had resulted in uchiha having the least deaths compared to others, for example the Hyuga and Yamanaka Clan were normally assigned at the borders all year due to the insight of byakugan and communication abilities of the latter.
At the borders there are skirmishes from time to time and causalities of Hyuga and Yamanaka Shinobi were very high.
Same was for the other clans and even civilians' shinobi, after becoming a genin they were bound to take on risky tasks and leave the village resulting in causalities again.

Another reason why Tobirama had allocated the leaf police force to uchiha was to prevent the emergence of another Madara and even if it did, get rid of it right away.

"You're overpraising me; I just stated some obvious facts" Kazuki at the showering praises stayed humble.
"HAHA!!"
At his humbleness Fukashi and Fugaku both just laughed and stood up, Kazuki standing up as well.
"You can rest assured for the upcoming jonin vote of confidence Kazuki-Kun; the uchiha stands with you."
"I'm grateful, Chief Fukashi" Thanked Kazuki in a sincere tone.
Next Kazuki who was about to leave was stopped by Fukashi for dinner as it his continuous persistence the former found refusing to be an insult.
Fukashi who was super happy today after the dinner took out dozens of sake bottles and Kazuki who hadn't taken a sip of alcohol this life didn't let go of the opportunity.
"HAHA! I can't even defeat you in a drinking battle; you are truly something else"

Night had fallen and the full moon brightly lit up the whole uchiha district, on the deserted streets Kazuki slowly walked home while enjoying the cool breeze but when he passed by what seemed like uchiha training ground, his steps couldn't help but halt.

It was midnight and in the deserted training ground with shuriken targets fixed on logs and ropes hanging down towering trees trained a small figure covered in sweat and dust, he looked around four and held a kunai bigger than his hands.
The kid had short, unkempt, dark colored hair and a relatively broad nose and well defined eyelashes, that were turns upward at each ends.
The kid trained alone, not knowing someone watching him from afar, Kazuki's eyes on the kids face that resembled someone from his memories, as eventually, after deep thought, the name finally escaping his lips.
"Shisui Uchiha"
