The Holy Spirit was relatively amused by their reaction. He did not expect to have this strong reaction from the two young women. 

'But again, they are nothing but humans.'

The Holy Spirit did not say that out loud even if he could ensure no one would hear him. It was because he started to fear the two beings that were not in his control. 

Vian and Arisa were normal human beings, they were no threat to the mighty Holy Spirit. However, Alastor and the phoenix were not. 

"How amusing," deliberately altering between thoughts, murmurs that no one could hear, and even the words he uttered for the two mortals within his grasp, the Holy Spirit was attempting to distract whoever was watching him. 

Calmly sitting on the floor, the Holy Spirit looked at his discarded cloak. He took it off earlier because the suppressed feelings were getting too much for him to handle.
