Alex sighed and patted her head.
"Fuck! Who are you?..." Rades slowly stood up from the ground and rubbed his face, staring at Alex. "A brat from the Black Bulls..."
Looking around Alex, he saw his zombies lying on the ground with no sign of movement.
"Ah, you must be the Anti-magic kid..." Rades's expression turned weird as if he had swallowed a bug, glaring at Alex.
"I didn't do all this shit so a little shit with no magic like you would be the one to oppose me!!"
As he barked those words, he summoned tens of zombies with his magic, attacking Alex.
Alex pushed the girl behind him and slashed his sword.
*Whoosh!*
With a single move, ten of the zombies were dissected into two pieces, instantly losing their mana and lying on the ground like lifeless corpses.
He sighed and said in a slightly mocking tone. "Just this? You sure seem overconfident with only this much to attack the town?"
Rades felt his cheek burning as his words were like a slap to his face. He gritted his teeth in anger and shouted. "I'm going to kill you!"
This time another figure emerged from the ground. It had the appearance of a very tall man with a pair of long arms. It was covered entirely with bandages with its head, chest, and lower arms and legs wrapped with black bandages. It also wore numerous black belts on its chest, upper arms, and feet. Furthermore, it also had a pair of eye-shaped ornaments attached to its face. Multiple weird spheres were revolving around it.
"Jimmy, your target this time is... that little shit!" Pointing at Alex, Rades said smugly, looking very arrogant.
The zombie raised its long arms and all the magical orbs charged at Alex.
Alex sighed and cut them all, finding it extremely boring.
If not for the plot, he might have gone ahead and killed all of them already.
But he needed it to happen since his target was the demon that was sealed along with the elves.
He continued to cut all the magical bullets that were aimed at him with no effort.
"For someone with no mana, he sure is holding his ground. But there is still plenty left of Jimmy." Rades smiled playfully and said. "But before I finish you off... Jimmy, get that little shit that's hiding behind him!"
He was targeting the young girl Alex was protecting.
Jimmy pointed at the girls and released multiple magical bullets.
"What?" The girl was startled by the situation, surprised by the change of events.
But even before those bullets could hit her, Alex flashed in front of her, cutting all of them again.
"How about we keep her out of our game?" Alex said with a smile that wasn't a smile at all.
He was losing his patience slowly.
'If Fugeleon didn't come here quickly, I swear that I will kill this bastard!'
Rades on the other hand didn't understand his meaning, laughing. He thought he had finally found Alex's weakness.
"That's right. I forgot... Magic knights are supposed to protect the citizens. Jimmy, Attack that Kid!!"
The zombie followed its Master's orders and attacked the kid but Alex easily destroyed the magical bullets. A tick mark slowly emerged on his forehead as his veins were twitching.
'I am so going to kill this bastard!'
"One Sword Style: Sword Draw!"
Alex sheathed his sword and stared at Rades with a red glint flashing in his eyes.
*Whoosh-!*
A blinding light unfolded in front of everyone, engulfing Alex, Rades, and the zombie.
'What the...' Leopold Vermillion who was subjecting the zombies not too far away was startled by the sudden light burst and covered his eyes to shield them.
'I can't see at all!' Not too far away, Noelle also covered her eyes, her heart worried for Alex.
The light only lasted a few seconds and died down soon after but what was left in front of them shook everyone to the core.
"Aaahhhh!!!"
A painful scream filled the entire area, overpowering the sounds of explosions and other things.
Leopold and Noelle couldn't believe their eyes with the latter covering her mouth in shock.
'How is this...'
Even Fuegoleon was taken aback in surprise, staring at the spectacle with his eyes shivering from shock.
Alex was standing in his original spot with an annoyed expression. His right hand held his sword which was glowing with a reddish-black aura.
The zombie Jimmy was nowhere to be seen with only a few remains lingering on the ground.
It was like it had disappeared!
On the other hand, Rades was sitting on the ground, covering his left shoulder which was missing an arm.
Yes! A freaking entire arm!
He was screaming in pain with his eyes trembling in horror. Both of the emotions had overwhelmed him so much that he was confused about whether he should scream in pain or from horror.
If that's not enough, then behind Rades laid a row of houses that had been sliced through.
The houses were like butter that had been cut by a hot knife.
Even though they were cut, they were still standing like nothing had happened.
If not for Fuegoleon's sharp eyes, it would be extremely difficult to see the cut.
And that's why Fuegoleon was staring at Alex's back like he had seen a ghost.
You had to know that Fuegoleon was one of the strongest Magician in the kingdom, especially since he came from one of the three Royal families.
So, there were not many things that could shake him so much, and yet, the single attack from Alex left him speechless.
If other captains were here, they would be beyond shocked too!
But while it was happening in this part of the city, all the other Magic knights had fallen into a trap that transferred them far away from the capital.
Alex felt the fluctuations and a smile crept on his face.
'Nice. Everything is still moving according to the canon.'
"Wh-What the?"
"The Magic Knights..."
"Lady Charlotte... disappeared."
"Sol..."
"To think the great Magic Knights would all fall for a silly trap like that. How stupid can they be? I was supposed to play with the stragglers, but it looks like I won't have to bother."
Sitting on a broom, a woman dressed in a black dress with a fluffy skirt, and a black witch hat.
She then licked her lips and said, "Now, then... I'd better use this time to get some nice, young man."
She said as she started sucking the mana out of the townspeople turning them old.
*Swoosh*
"Oh, my. I guess someone was able to escape that spatial magic." The woman said as she was getting ready to attack.
Seeing Yuno, she quickly changed her attitude as the malice coming from her disappeared like it was never there.
"My, you're handsome and my type. Say, want to have some fun with me?" She asked with a smile and lust in her eyes.
"Get away from those people, you old hag," Yuno said coldly to the woman.
"I'll murder you!" The previous happy expression of hers crumbled down instantly as she showed a malicious face again...
