"Come for lunch at the family's residence tomorrow noon, will you? That way we can get ahead of this whole thing. What do you say?" Eloise asked, her hand on Willow's shoulder, a small smile on her face. The media could interpret it as her mother-in-law being cozy with her.
"Yes, of course I will," Willow replied tightly. She glanced at Alejandro, who was standing a few feet away from her. Willow nodded and stood up, clutching her purse tightly. She looked at her father and stepmother, whose eyes were also on her.
"We will take our leave now, Mom," Alejandro piped in, cutting off whatever the woman wanted to say. Eloise looked at her son and nodded, her eyes twinkling slightly.
"Of course, go safely then," she replied. Alejandro walked out of the house, leaving Willow to run after him, trying to catch up and not have him leave her like the last time.
