Chapter 10: In the Midst of Despair
Inside the locked room, Breno Huguel witnessed a devastating scene. Students were sitting on the floor, crying and holding their heads in despair. Others were vomiting due to the shock and amount of blood spilled. Breno stood there, watching everything in shock, unable to find words to describe the terrible tragedy that had happened.
Silence dominated the environment, as students tried to process the magnitude of what they had witnessed. Hours passed, and Breno, exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed, finally gave in to sleep. His mind was filled with terrifying images and confusing emotions.
While sleeping, Breno dreamed of an uncertain future. The traumatic events he had witnessed left a deep mark on his mind, and he knew that the consequences of this massacre would be long-lasting. But even in the midst of despair, a small flame of hope began to ignite within him.
Breno knew he needed to find a way to survive and face the terrible reality that befell the school. He needed to find the strength to overcome the trauma and, perhaps, find a way to unite with the other survivors and fight against the oppression that Houka and his soldiers imposed.
While he slept, Breno prepared himself for the challenge that awaited him. He knew the road ahead would be difficult and dangerous, but he was determined not to let fear and sadness consume him. Breno would awaken with a new determination, ready to face any obstacle that stood in his way.
