Erin didn't have time to control her heartbeat. The next second she heard Huey couldly spit out.

He grabbed onto her and tossed her off his shoulder as Erin yelped her way against the ground.

"You seriously need a course on how to treat a lady." Erin said with gritted teeth as she rubbed her backside and slowly got up.

All of the sudden development of events left her heart still pounding and her lips trembling with each deep breath she took.

First there was the unsettling behaviour of Huey, then the other group of bastards who crossed them. Followed by the ground tearing open underneath her, and then the drop through the cave.

Erin couldn't possibly be that unlucky. At this point she believesd she was cursed!
