Ian wondered what more he could do to make her see that he was not going to betray her. He had done nothing to stab her in the back since they met. He had gone out of his way to kill someone for her. Putting himself at risk of having the town guards take him away.

"Once you have your trust broken, it is quite hard to easily trust another. Liking someone all over again is a little bit scary. I haven't felt like this in a while so I feel a bit weird. It's been some time since I courted someone," said Scarlet.
