Normally, Dimitri would attend usual bars instead of this fancy one because he was a man that loved to party and have fun. But recently, his father had suggested against it as it might lead to him getting hurt. 

The fancy bar was much safer and not just any type of person was allowed in there. He saw the point in the old man's word and it was why he agreed. But Jesus, the fancy bar was boring compared to usual bars that he can't even seem to stand it. 

Yet, he must. He just had to adapt and get used to it. 

Drawings a deep annoyed breath, he dropped the glass of cocktail and turned his head to get up from his seat., but he came face to face with none other than Vera who stood hunched to be at the same eye level with him.

Their faces were just an inch apart, so much that he could feel her hot breath fanning his face. He wasn't sure what he swallowed, but he'd gripped the arm rest of the chair tighter, suddenly getting sweaty.
