[So, what kind of sword are you going to create first?] Ddraig asked.
[Gravity Sword, then Demonic Generator Sword,] Kiba sighed as he began the creation process. Suddenly, a blue digital screen appeared in front of him.
[Initiating...]
[Unlimited Sword Birth is online]
"Did it..?" Kiba was puzzled by the unexpected development.
[What are you staring at?] Ddraig asked, unable to see the blue message box that appeared. [I can hear it.]
"You can hear it but not see it?" Kiba was even more confused. He tapped the box, and it expanded into a larger blue screen.
-
[Main Menu]
1. Sword Creation
2. Sword List Database
3. Upgrades
4. Fusion
5. ????
-
"Interesting," Kiba murmured, though he was still annoyed that all his hard work was gone.
[What do you see?] Ddraig asked, still unable to see anything.
"It's like a game interface with character status," Kiba explained.
[Can you see your status?] Ddraig asked.
"No, just some basic abilities of Sword Birth... sorry, Unlimited Sword Birth," Kiba corrected himself.
[It changed? Is it still in Balance Breaker mode?] Ddraig asked.
"Yeah, that's the most amazing part of all this," Kiba said as he pressed the Sword List Database.
He was surprised to see a list of all the swords he had previously created.
"That's a lot," Kiba remarked, noting that even the swords created by the original Kiba were on the list.
He saw his Earth Buster Sword listed with a note saying, "The sword is beyond the user's current strength."
Ticked but understanding, he returned to the main menu and pressed Sword Creation, only to be even more surprised by what he saw.
-
[Weapon Creation]
[Name]
[Appearance]
[Ability]
[Insert Materials]
-
Kiba quickly understood the purpose of this new interface. What intrigued him most was the "Insert Materials" option, allowing him to use materials from his world to forge swords.
He started by entering the name "Demonic Generator." Not caring much about its appearance, he randomized it. He focused on the ability, specifying that it should generate bottomless Demonic Power. He ignored the materials section since he didn't have any on hand.
As the process began, a new blue screen appeared.
[There is a similar blueprint in the database. Would you like to replace it or combine it into one? Press Y for the first choice or Press N for the second choice]
[Y/N]
Kiba selected the second choice, combining the blueprints.
[Demonic Generator, Progress 1%]
"This is something else. I can create two more swords," Kiba noted, seeing two additional slots available.
He created a Gravity Sword and a new version of the Sage Mode Blade, now called Natural Energy Generator, which worked similarly to the Demonic Generator.
Within a minute, the Gravity Sword was finished. He then began creating an improved Emotion Sword, now named Heart Sword.
This new version intensified emotions, could lock emotions, and had the added ability to affect and absorb others' emotions.
Kiba activated his Gravity Sword, increasing the usual gravity on his body until it felt challenging again. He summoned his Devil Sword from thin air and began training, striking downward repeatedly.
He kept at it for an hour before getting bored. He took a bath to refresh himself and then went to sleep, hoping to shake off his boredom and laziness.
---
A bright ray of sunlight shone through the window, causing Kiba's eyes to twitch. He quickly covered his eyes and went back to sleep.
Like every other person who stayed up late, he finally woke up at 1:29 PM, feeling groggy. He sat up and wiped his eyes.
"Ugh, what time is it?" Kiba looked over and saw the clock: 1:30 PM.
"Damn, I woke up late," Kiba muttered.
[Yeah, you did,] Ddraig agreed.
"I really need that sword to finish quickly," Kiba said, checking the progress.
[Demonic Generator, Progress 15%]
[Natural Energy Generator, Progress 5%]
[Heart Sword, Progress 22%]
"It's still not finished," Kiba grumbled.
[Forget about it and start training. You promised Akeno to teach her Electrification, remember?] Ddraig reminded him.
[Oh, yeah. I forgot. I guess I just have to wait until it's time, then,] Kiba said as he fell asleep again.
[Is this guy for real?] Ddraig couldn't believe his host was this lazy. [No wonder he needs that sword,] Ddraig sighed.
Fast forward a bit,
Kiba was already waiting for Akeno outside in the backyard. When she arrived, she was a bit confused but smiled, seeing Kiba singing his heart out.
"I will stay alive, Praying for myself, I will stay alive, Praying for myself."
He stopped when he saw her standing there. "Come on, let's start the training."
"Wait, why do you look different than normal?" Akeno asked, a bit confused by his appearance in just one day.
"Nothing," Kiba said dismissively.
"If you say so. But what should I do?" Akeno asked.
"I want to ask, what do you think about how it works?" Kiba asked.
"Engulfing the body with lightning to increase your overall strength?" Akeno suggested.
"Right, but not quite. That's the final stage. The technique first stimulates the user's nervous system, enhancing their speed and reaction time, and then wraps layers of lightning around the user's body. This is the first thing you need to do without hurting yourself," Kiba explained.
"But your technique is different from what you're saying," Akeno noticed.
"Well, you need to master this first. Unlike me, I skipped stages and went straight to the final version, becoming one with the lightning," Kiba explained his version.
"Why can't I use your version?" Akeno asked.
"Because you don't have healing powers, that's all," Kiba said. "Now start by conjuring the Lightning Armor."
'Since when?' Akeno was confuses by that statement but she ignored it.
Then she took a deep breath and followed his instructions, stimulating her nervous system.
She saw the world moving slowly but got shocked and instantly stopped stimulating her nervous system.
"You put too much lightning in your system," Kiba said. "I think it's better for you to see it."
Kiba activated his Lightning Armor, showing Akeno.
"See?" Kiba said.
"I still don't understand," Akeno admitted.
"Let me show you," Kiba said, creating a hologram of the nervous system. He demonstrated how to stimulate it and then how to wrap layers of lightning around the body.
"Oh, like that," Akeno said, finally understanding.
She tried it but her lightning armor only had one layer.
"Keep training. You'll be able to hang on it. When you finally master it, I can teach Electrification," Kiba said as he left her in the backyard.
He walked to town to buy some food, feeling lazy. He went to a convenience store and bought food that could be heated. He ate alone, but then his phone rang.
"Kiba, let's meet up," Azazel said.
"Send me the location," Kiba replied.
The call ended as Kiba walked out of the convenience store. He received the location on his phone.
Sighing, he walked to an alleyway and began creating the spell to teleport to the coordinates.
When Kiba teleported, he found Azazel and Baraqiel waiting for him.
"Welcome," Azazel said with a smile, chuckling when he saw Kiba holding Chicken Katsu.
"So, what do you want me to do?" Kiba asked.
"Follow me," Azazel said, guiding him while Baraqiel walked alongside Kiba.
"Is Akeno having fun?" Baraqiel asked.
"You could say that," Kiba replied. Seeing the sad expression on Baraqiel's face, he patted him on the back and said, "Don't worry, you'll see her soon enough."
"I hope so," Baraqiel said.
When they arrived at the room, Kiba was quite impressed by the high-tech setup.
"Are you trying to create Sacred Gear?" Kiba asked, even though he already knew Azazel's plan.
"Yes, an artificial one," Azazel said, showing one of the prototypes.
Kiba examined it, nodding. 'He's already at this stage; sooner he can use it.' He looked at Azazel and said, "So, what kind of weapon would you like? I assume you already have a few people ready."
"I would like something similar to Divine Dividing," Azazel said. "If you can make it, I'm willing to provide you with about 20 humans with Sacred Gears."
"Well, I can, but it's going to take a while if you want a replica. It won't be as strong as Divine Dividing, and it will be demonic," Kiba said, rubbing his chin. "It's going to take some time. Can you wait?"
"I'm over 10,000 years old. Of course, I can wait," Azazel said. "If you complete it, I'll fulfill my side of the deal."
"In that case, I'll start now," Kiba said, changing the Demonic Generator to Replica Divine Dividing. "I'll call you when it's finished then."
Kiba offered a handshake, and Azazel accepted it. Kiba smiled at Baraqiel before teleporting back to his home.
