Ariana heaved a sigh of relief. For the first time in her life, she was glad for Mrs Nelson's mania of having everything prim, proper and perfect. The three Ps almost ruined her life, but this time around they seemed to have saved her by an inch.

"Miss Harlow is no longer a member of the Nelson family. So how can she sit at the main table?" Mrs Nelson literally conjured on the spot next to Mister Adrien out of thin air. 

She then turned to look at Ariana and said to her, "I am sorry about this, Miss Harlow but if you were to remarry my son only then will you be allowed to sit with our family." 

Mrs Nelson sounded pompous as she said those words, as if sitting on the main table was similar to sitting on the imaginary throne of the Lonest City.

Ariana smiled and said to Mister Adrien, "I will sit on the table closest to the main table, Grandpa. We can still talk to one another."
