"Nope, not crying anymore."

The little woman shook her head vehemently, unnerved by the man's intense gaze. She ran into the bedroom at full speed, her little face as hot as if she'd gotten the scare of her life.

As soon as Xi Yemo entered, he saw the small woman looking both shy and indignant, a hint of amusement twinkling in his eyes.

Seeing him come in, Lan Xin Ai hurriedly said, "Grandma's not here tonight. You can't sleep on the bed."

"Okay." Xi Yemo's straightforward answer left Lan Xin Ai completely in disbelief.

"I'll sleep with you."

The wolf's words were indeed not to be trusted.
