Ming Mei pushed down hard, but damn, there was no movement.

What's going on? Was her body pinned down?

Suddenly, a forceful grip tightened around the back of her neck, and Ming Mei's body was yanked off of the butler's.

She was lifted up like a helpless chick by one strong arm.

The butler quickly scrambled up from the floor, picked up his own glasses that hadn't yet shattered and put them on. He lowered his head in embarrassment and guilt, apologizing, "Young master, I'm sorry for my negligence."
