(A Side Story...)
....
[Location: Pride Ring- Imp City - Second Circle - King Pins Kinks]
[A few years in the future...]
The scene opens at a seedy bowling alley in Hell. The neon lights flicker, casting an eerie glow over the lanes.
Blitz, Moxxie, Millie, and Loona are gathered around their assigned lane. The atmosphere is loud with the sound of crashing pins and heavy metal music blaring from the speakers.
Blitz leaned over the ball return, with a shit-eating grin spreading across his face as he surveyed the scene.
Every other month the Imp crew have a bowling Night competition, for some Team bonding.
But really it's because this was the only activity they planned that didn't end in some sort of war crime being committed.
"All right, team! Time to show these low-life Hellion Cucks how it's done. Remember, bowling is all about Ball placement, strategy, and—"
Moxxie cut in, clearly not amused. "And not letting you cheat like last time."
Blitz's expression turned innocent, his eyes wide. "Who, me? I never cheat. I just have a talent for bending the rules."
Millie laughed, nudging Blitz playfully. "Sure, Blitz. Let's see if you can bend the laws of physics and actually hit some pins this time." Said the reigning champion three months in a row.
Loona rolled her eyes, clearly dragged here against her will. "Can we just get this over with? I've got better things to do than watch you losers try and fail at bowling."
Blitz smirked, unfazed by Loona's attitude. "Oh, come on, Loona. You know you love spending quality time with your dysfunctional work family."
Loona's deadpan response was immediate. "I love it almost as much as a root canal."
"Well tough you need to get out more," Blitz said while checking out a horse poster on the wall with sparkling eyes.
She gave him the side eye before looking back at her phone."I do get out. I just hate everyone I meet."
"Well, at least you're consistent."
"Great! So can I Lea—"
Blitz ignored her, turning his attention to Millie. "Millie, you're up first. Show us how it's done, Sugar tits!"
Millie picked up a bowling ball, cracked her knuckles, and approached the lane with a feral grin. She took a deep breath and rolled the ball with perfect form. It glided down the lane and crashed into the pins that were dressed like a certain clan with hoods, easily knocking them all down.
[STRIKE]
"Strike! Take that, suckers!" Millie cheered, as she ran to Moxxie for a high five.
Moxxie beamed with pride. "That's my girl!"
Blitz clapped, genuinely impressed. "Nicely done, Millie! Now, watch and learn from the master."
With a dramatic flair, Blitz stepped up to the lane, grabbed a ball, and winked at the others. He wound up and hurled the ball down the lane. It veered off course and ended up in the gutter.
Loona's smirk was unmissable. "Nice one, oh great master."
Blitz pouted, clearly not pleased with his performance. "That was a practice shot. The real magic happens now."
Moxxie's sarcastic quip was fast."Oh, sure. Because nothing says 'bowling master' like a gutter ball."
Blitz waved him off. "Dickless, you're up. Try not to embarrass yourself too much."
Moxxie stepped forward, determination etched on his face. "Watch and learn, Sir. It's basic math really."
He rolled the ball after making some adjustments, hitting the pins and knocking down all but one.
"Huh! But my calculations..."
Millie cheered again. "Great job, Mox! Almost a strike!"
Blitz couldn't resist a jab. "Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, Moxxie."
Moxxie glared at Blitz. "At least I didn't end up in the gutter."
Loona sighed loudly. "Can we speed this up? I feel my soul dying a little more with every frame."
Blitz grinned. "Your turn, Loona. Let's see if you can do better."
With an exasperated sigh, Loona picked up a ball and walked to the lane. She threw it with little enthusiasm, but it miraculously knocked down all the pins.
[STRIKE]
"Wow, Loona! A strike!" Millie was genuinely impressed.
Loona shrugged, as nonchalant as ever. "Beginner's luck."
Blitz laughed, clapping his hands. "Beginner's luck, my bleached asshole. You've got hidden talents, Looney. As expected of my daughter."
"Only on paper." She said in a miffed tone, before kicking him in the nuts when he tried to kiss her cheek and coddle up to her.
.....
The game continued with each of them taking turns, bantering and making jokes at each other's expense.
Moxxie turned to Millie, a nostalgic smile on his face. "Remember our tenth date here, Millie? You were so competitive."
Millie laughed, leaning into Moxxie. "Yeah, and you were trying so hard to impress me. You almost threw your back out."
"...Please don't remind me of that."
Blitz couldn't help but mock. "Moxxie trying to be macho? That's fucking adorable."
Moxxie bristled but quickly turned to Millie. "Hey, I did impress her. Didn't I, Millie?"
Millie smiled warmly at him. "You did, Mox. But it was your sweet, nerdy side that won me over." She said kissing him on the cheek which made him visibly melt in bliss.
Loona rolled her eyes, clearly over the sentimental shit. "Ugh, can we not turn this into a romance novel? It's bad enough we're here."
Millie leaned towards Loona. "Oh, come on, Loona. You'll find your demon prince charming one day, and when you do you'll understand what love is."
Loona's smirk was back. "If by Prince charming you mean a creep with three eyes and a bad pickup line, then no thank you."
Said demon that was approaching lowered his head before grabbing a rope and walking to the bathroom.
Blitz laughed heartily. "That's the spirit! All right, final round. Daddy's going home with the trophy today."
The final round was tense, with Blitz, Millie, and Loona each getting close to a perfect game. In the end, Millie took the win with another strike, making this her fourth victory in a row.
Blitz grinned, clapping enthusiastically. "Well, looks like Millie's the queen of the lanes tonight."
Millie bowed theatrically. "Thank you, thank you. I'll be signing autographs later."
Moxxie hugged her tightly."Good Job honey!!"
Loona sighed. "Can we go now? I've had enough bonding for one night."
Blitz smirked, already planning the next outing. "All right, gang. Let's blow this joint. But remember, we're doing this again in two months."
Loona groaned"Great. Something to look forward to." She commented sarcastically.
The gang packed up and headed out of the bowling alley, on their way out they passed another group with two hellhounds, an Incubus and...huh?
'That demon looks a lot like Octavi—'
In her absence, she almost walked face-first into a pillar if not for someone pulling her away.
"..."
"Hey there, you gotta watch where you're going." They said, and Loona couldn't help but think' That is one sexy voice.'
Looking up she blushed, her cheeks turning pink underneath her fur as she looked at the very tall, and very handsome fox demon.
"What's the hold-up Tucker...LE GASP!!.. Not every hole is a goal Tucker—OUCH!! What the hell was that for Ruby."
"..."
"Haha, I'll be right there, well then take care of yourself miss."
"...Oh...a yeah, thanks for that.."
"Sure thing, I'll see you around."
"Yeah I'll definitely see you...no I mean, uhh, ahaha..."
'Fuck, I'm totally fucking my words up.' Before she could make a recovery Tucker left leaving Loona by herself.
"..."
'M-maybe bowling nights aren't so bad...I wonder if I'll see him again.'
I hope you enjoyed this little side chapter. Also No!! Lusia is not Lilith, that's all I'll say.
