章 59: Interrogation

His consciousness slowly gathered. Ren opened his eyes and saw an unfamiliar room. Slowly, memories of what had happened began to surface in his mind.

"So, I'm now in Amano Iwato Prison," murmured the young man.

"That's right, you slept quite soundly, kid."

Ren turned towards the source of the voice. He found a man in his thirties sitting in the corner.

Although Ren did not know who he was, the man's abnormal right hand indicated that he, too, was a genomancer like Ren.

"Were you also captured, uncle?" Ren asked.

The man's forehead twitched when Ren called him uncle. He snapped, "Don't call me uncle, I'm only 29 years old. Like you and the others, I was captured because of my unclear origins."

"Alright, Senior, do you know what they are going to do to us?"

"Hm, well I guess being called Senior isn't too bad," the man murmured.
