章 9: Knowing each other well
"Where were you? And .....why were you not picking up your phone?" questioned Ash after they both left from the about to begin quarrel.
"Actually I had important work so I couldn't take your calls." she replied.
"Work? Here?" asked Ash as he didn't know which work she was talking about and he was pretty sure that Sana didn't take part in the organising committee.
"Yes, Of course." said Sana.
"Alright. Let's just think that you had actual work here." Though he knew she was lying, he didn't want to discuss it now.
"Listen, I was checking the list of people who bought that book and.."
"Don't worry, the story in other books is different. I cross checked it with the boy who was sitting next to you in the auditorium." Interrupted Sana.
"How do you know that I am about to say that?" Ash couldn't figure it out.
"I read the fresher's party day chapter in the book." she replied with a smirk on her face.
"Oh! right. It's a kind of fortune teller for you." said Ash.
"So what else happened today in that book?" he added. Sana told in a flow that she read the chapter but what happened at last was not supposed to take place in real life and she didn't want Ash to know about that.
"Nothing special, we just attend the party and leave." she said.
"No way! Something must have definitely happened, after all it's a book not a normal life." Ash insisted on knowing the story but Sana refused.
Soon performances prepared by students started. After that there were different games queued, everyone was excited. Since Sana was way too busy with this book confusion she didn't got time to prepare anything.
Everything was going great. People were eating, dancing, singing and enjoying themselves.
But who knew that it won't last long because of some troublesome fools.
"Sana, I am getting a bad headache because of the loud music. I am going to take some rest." Because of the dance performances, the volume of speakers increased. Ash couldn't bear it for too long.
"Are you thinking of going to one of the rooms nearby?" she asked.
"Yes, of course. Where else will I go?" he replied.
"Listen to me carefully, go to the green room they provided for us." She wanted him to avoid certain circumstances but also he needs to rest now at least for ten minutes otherwise he won't be able to get home today.
"The room would be full of people right now. I can't go there dude." he hesitated.
"Ash, the rooms where you want to go are not safe. Suzy will follow you there and according to the book she....
"Just say it." asked Ash.
..will try to kill you."
Sana was shocked when she read this that day so she decided to face this problem with proper strategy.
"What? and why would she try to kill me?" He couldn't believe it till Sana showed him those pages of the book where the fresher's party day chapter was written. She clicked its photos because she knew Ash very well.
"We can never predict what else she will try to do. Conclusion is; this girl is dangerous, better stay away from her. I have told some of my friends in the organizing committee to allow only a few people at a time to avoid Hodge podge." Sana came earlier to the venue to manage and check all these things and she hoped everything would go as planned.
"Suzy won't be able to do anything in public and you will also get your part done." she added.
"Ah! My headache got worse after listening to all this. I don't understand her problem. Anyway, you should also be careful don't try to catch her." Ash knew that Sana would not leave Suzy after what she has planned to do but he still warned her.
"Alright I won't do anything," said Sana.
On his way to the green room Ash called his friend, Eddy.
"Hi, Eddy. I need your help."
