章 157: His careful plans

Ravi recalled somewhere he heard when he was young. He did not remember where but the person said, "A good plan is like a tree, and reality is like the wind. The tree might be rigid, but the wind will bend it.

Ravi's plan was so simple. First, behave in the kidnapped area, Arlen would look for him, absence would make his heart grow fonder, he would find him and Ravi would use the emotional moment to confess and you know...he was not quite sure how the rest of it would go but that was a good plan in his mind.

12 hours in, and the first wave of wind came. Victor soon rushed into the room, the side of his head was bleeding, a good pop of color into the pale bald side of his head.

"You! Get up!" He said to Ravi, "We have to go now." He then smiled and headed towards Alexis. There was a hint of regret on his face as he looked down at the girl who was looking up at him.
