— Lilith POV —
I don't know how long I was in Alexi's arms crying my heart out.
People never really saw Alexi or me as normal people. We were the CEOs of the largest corporations in the country, often times people forget that we can hurt just as much as they do.
"Lex had no right to tell you and just leave you," Alexi said as he patted my head.
"He didn't, I made him leave," I confessed.
"He should have stayed," Alexi insisted. "Your cousin should have known that you'd be hurting."
"Or he suspected that I'd go straight to you," I sighed. "In all honesty, I think he is hurting too. The fact that he had to tell me and not Grandpa, well, I don't think he liked that at all."
Alexi was silent as he rested his chin on my head.
"I think you should talk to him," he finally said.
"To Lex?" I asked as I sat up properly.
"No, to Grandpa Luther," he told me. "He shouldn't be keeping these things from you."
