章 87: Family Meeting

Getting Alexander to agree to help me was much easier than I had envisioned. 

I was prepared to argue with him, to reason out why I should be allowed to go after the Youngs on my own, but he surprised me. Most men in my life would have wanted to coddle me and protect me, but not Alexander.

"You're lost in thought," Cassandra said as she teasingly nudged my shoulder as we walked up to the office lobby.

"Just a lot of work," I told her. "I'll talk to my cousin later, I have a proposition for him."

She gave me a nod before glancing back at my car as it left.

"Alexi dropped you off?" she asked. 

"He did, and he helped me with some things last night," I said proudly.

"Like an orgasm?" she teased, making me roll my eyes in response. 

"No," I grumbled at her immature answer. 

"So he isn't that good, I guess you can't—"
