章 142: A Step Forward

"There are no Beasts to hide behind this time around." Werewolf Conor chuckled.

The chilly wind told Levi that it was already winter, he hoped that it didn't snow in this world or at least it skipped these parts. The trees looked dead under the glimmering moonlight.

They were almost all out of leaves, all that was left were shapes that resembled an undead army that was marching in the vastness of the wilds. Levi admitted that it was creepy, but that wasn't his focus right then.

The thing in front of him was the only thing he should have been focused on. They had been at it for a good while now, Levi had three gashes tracing across his chest, blood trickling from them while it attempted to heal and Lilith told him that while they'll heal, they would leave scars.

Not that he cared about that!
