Rolan was tipped by a survivor from the slavery of goblins. He said that there were survivors of Tribal Warriors in the goblin tribe nearby.
And so, he tarried immediately. He saw the mountain where the cave would be and the potential base.
Moving further, he saw a camp of enemies. Tents were seen established and a campfire was in the center. There were a few ups and downs as the camp was established on a hill and the roads were dug beside the mountains.
Red goblins were dancing near the fire and they were numerous. Tridents held high and they had red skin with a black spear-like tail. Making chants as they praised the Demon god.
Rolan then saw that he has to enter the camp before he will arrive at the burrow falls. Making him think that he has to kill his way through.
Making Rolan think that the camp was established there to have an extra defense against the incoming attack from them.
Rolan then sneaked to observe more. To his surprise, their numbers were a hundred. Even though they were weak overall, their numbers will make up for it.
Rolan then started his onslaught. Enemies were alerted and he immediately attacked them with his weapon drawn.
He slashed and smashed the Red goblins and they retaliated with remorse. Red goblins tried to stab him with their tridents and then his shield was battered by them.
They soon followed through and more enemies came to join the fight. With just them, he slaughtered those who were greater in numbers. Bodies fell one by one on their formation.
The enemies then were killed with just a slash of his weapon. A blood bath soon followed. The enemies fought bravely but their courage only brought forth their demise.
Enemies have low health points and so their damage was enough for them to get killed. He soon laid waste to the camp and only blood and corpses were what remained. No crystals as they were summoned from seeds of evil.
Soon, he exited the camp. Leading towards the other side of the mountain where the road to Burrow falls was located.
Traveling forth on the lonely road, he traveled past the mountains. Even valleys were paved and several red goblins were present on the road. There were several seeds of evil on the road that Aizen destroyed.
As he soon traveled several miles, he rested on a riverside. Taking ample rest after the tiring battle that he took.
He soon resumed his travels and followed the river. The river will lead him to his destination where the falls were located. After paving the road on the riverside, he can finally hear the heavy downpour of the waters against the rocks. Basking on the trickling moisture that it makes, he concluded that he has arrived.
He was at a towering Falls and he was on its footing. Beneath was the entrance into their lair. Ferns were thick and their sprouts were ready to be picked. Having been showered by the droplets of falls made them grow abundantly. The ferns danced as they were being showered upon and they were in good nurturing.
It was in a cave with waterfalls. Rolan then paved the wet floor of the cave and his boots were soaked. Passing through some rushing waters from above that soaked him wet. He soon arrived at the entrance which the waters were covering without blocking the path. Burrow Falls was the name of the place.
Guarding them were Hobgoblins nonetheless. It was concluded after he saw the markings of their tribe, he immediately realized that it was their base.
Rolan then entered and attacked their lair. Two guards were present in the doorway and they stood with great vigilance.
He immediately ran towards them and slashed their heads off after a tiring battle. One was shouting with every hit and one was very talkative while their weapons clashed.
Rolan was amused but they needed to be killed. And so, he killed them as they tried to stop him. Looting their bodies, he looted the key on the door. It was made of bronze and so he was pleased. Having a key saves time compared to lock-picking the door.
He unlocked the door with a clunk and entered the caverns. The first place was a hollow cave with a bridge. A rushing river was beneath it and several fishes were seen jumping out of the waters. It was cut off from the other side so he needs to put it down first. Killing his way through and then looting some more chests.
Stumbling on one bucket made the whole cave echo. The wind was whooshing inside and the rushing river reverberated on the place.
The place was humid and the cold crept inside his clothes. Making the skin moisten with droplets. His eyelashes were trickled with moisture and it made him have cold eyes. Only the warmth of the torches was what made him alleviate his cold feet.
Rolan arrived on a bridge that was cut from the other side. Scanning the surroundings, he saw the lever that he needed to use.
The bridge then was put down from the other side using a lever then it sounded as if it attached on the other side. He crossed it then the wooden bridge creaked after he stepped on it. Making him stop midway and then continued.
"Sheriek!" the enemies were alerted after he opened the bridge.
Enemies then ran towards them. The enemies then have their weapons and shields equipped from the other side of the bridge. Rolan then assaulted their formation and he battled them with great vigor. Having great stamina was indeed helpful. He battered the enemy shields with his slashes and only a small amount of stamina was used.
Battering left and right, enemies were dumbfounded. They were shocked by how he was able to exert such stamina and prowess. Not even giving time to rest or time to have a breather. Making their blocks a little bit weak. Their arms were failing to lift their shields as the bones on their arms broke.
They soon were furiously slashed by Rolan after he break their blocks. Making their blood spurt out which killed them immediately.
He looted them after they died and found 7 gold coins. The gold coins sounded after they entered his coin pouch with a cling.
Rolan then arrived at a more spacious place. Still, mosses littered the place. He immediately saw cultists having a drinking party at their tables. Rolan immediately attacked them and then the Hobgoblins saw him. Rolan immediately equipped his weapons on his back and then attacked them. The enemies have weapons mixed from maces to swords. Some were axes and hammers.
Rolan then slashed one with his scythe and then the enemy fell with just one wound on the chest. Rolan then was attacked with arrow missiles from the enemies in the distance. Arrows hit his shield and Rolan tried to evade several others.
Rolan attacked them with his ranged basic attack. Chipping their health points slowly. They used their weapons on him whilst they attacked and then Rolan blocked their weapons. Retaliating with a counter to their onslaught. Dealing fatal damage as his slash made a critical.
Rolan then attacked and then the enemies were all killed with his weapon. Looting them up gave him a few gold coins.
It was then, he arrived at their campfire. The cooking pit was hung with salmon, and grilled on the heat and the cooking pot still has gruel cooked inside. Rolan then took a seat and then ate to warm up his tummy. Food in the enemy camps was not poisoned so why would they serve something like it for themselves?
He was warmed up and full then he followed the path.
Rolan then saw brown mushrooms and took a handful. Puts it inside his backpack. Collecting several ingredients for cooking in the cooking pit. Like salt and ham, cheese, pork ribs, and salmon. Pepper also and several spices like leeks, onion, garlic, and ginger.
All ingredients were put inside and will be cooked in the future.
