章 56: Chapter 55: Monster VS Demon
Rihito, taking the attack from the horsehead monster's fist, stood in his place like an immovable object. He then grabbed onto the monster's hand and landed a punch, the impact blowing away the monster's torso.

Shizuku hearing the noise from the impact opened her eyes and found someone unknown standing before her, protecting her from the attack.
Shizuku saw this man and the first thing that came to her mind was Endou had succeeded and Backup had come to rescue them, thinking that she sighed in relief.
As Shizuku stared at him she saw he readied his right fist and delivered a punch to the torso of the monster. She saw this and tried to warn him that it wouldn't work, but before she could, she saw his fist easily punch through the monster's torso, killing it instantly.
"Boom!"
"Thud!!"
"..."
Shizuku was agape seeing the monster fall, she couldn't believe this… with a single blow, the monster was taken out. Just a few moments ago she was fighting this monster, and no matter what attack she did none were dealing enough damage to kill it. Then suddenly this guy comes out of nowhere and takes out that monster like it's nothing. [Just who is this guy?] she wondered.
Shizuku tried to get up but her broken ribs and a few broken bones prevented her from standing. The only thing she could see was his slightly long snow-white hair.
Shizuku then noticed a man staring at Cattleya. To her surprise, she saw Cattleya meet his gaze and flinched away, surrounding herself with monsters.
Just then the whole floor started to shake.
"Rumble!!"
"Rumble!!"
Shizuku was concerned about her friends and checked on them. Finding them to be fine, she searched for the source of the sudden disturbance. She looked around but she failed to find the source, she then approached the unknown man to seek answers. [Hey, what's going on? Why is this dungeon shaking.]
"Help is coming…" the unknown man answered. Then he turned around.
Her eyes widened as she glimpsed at his face, and tears she had held for so long poured out, calling his name, "Rihito…"

Rihito, as I see Shizuku cry, I approach her kneel before her, and use Healing magic to heal all the injuries on her body. After healing her, I grab her hand and help her to her feet. Throughout this, Shizuku stares at me the whole time, as if she can't believe it's me.
"You are really Rihito?" Shizuku asked.
Wiping the tears from her eyes I answered Jokingly, "Just because my hair colour had changed you can't identify this handsome face, how sad," I said in mock sadness.
Shizuku hearing that gave me an unimpressed look and whispered, "You are as stupid as always," with an imperceivable smile she was about to hug Rihito. But…
"Booom!!!"
An explosion on the ceiling occurred.
Breaking the delicate atmosphere Hajime and others finally arrived by creating a hole in the ceiling of the 70th floor.
Hajime after landing put his pile-bunker back in his <Treasure Box> and looked at me and Shizuku staring at him.
Hajime seeing us in awkward half-hugging posture said, "Don't mind me… you guys continue."
"..."
Shizuku blushing, straightens up and asks "Is that…Hajime?" she asks looking at me.
"Yeah, that's Hajime," I confirmed.
"He… has changed quite a bit," Shizuku says seeing Hajime in his new getup.
While Shizuku observed Hajime talking to Kaori, she heard a girl's voice calling out to Rihito. She shifted her gaze and saw a girl with sky-blue hair and rabbit ears running.
"Rihito~, there you are~, I have been looking for you," Shea getting close to Rihito grabbed his left arm and rubbed her cheeks, she sent a subtle glare at Shizuku, which said, 'Back off, he is mine.'
Shea might have said to Rihito, that she would not stop other girls from falling in love with him. But she never said she would make it easy for them. It has taken quite an effort for her to get this close to Rihito, so it's fine to make a little trouble for the other girls, right?
Shizuku understood the message in that glair. She then also grabbed Rihito's right arm and glared back with a message, 'Who are you calling yours, he is mine, I won't let you.'

Rihito out of nowhere suddenly found himself in a tight spot between two girls, on one side there was Shea who was looking at Shizuku with a sunny smile, which to Rihito didn't seem sunny at all, and on the other side, Shizuku was glaring at Shea with a devilish smile, with dark aura exuding out of her.
Rihito trapped between two girls didn't know how to get out of this situation. But lucky for him there was someone present who had enough of this Sharad.
"That's enough! I had seen enough of this foolish behaviour, it seems you guys are still not taking me seriously,"
Cattleya getting enough of their antics orders her monster to attack, "Go kill them all."
Seeing the monster running towards us except for Rihito, Hajime, Shea and Yue everyone tensed up.
Rihito getting out of both of the girl's grip pulled out a purple Katana and handed it to Shizuku.
"Shizuku catch."
"Eh?" Shizuku catching the sword, observed the katana and she was impressed seeing the purple and black Katana.

"It's a special Katana I made for you, make good use of it," after saying that I looked at Shea and said, "Protect them." to which she nodded.
I then stood beside Hajime, in both of his hands were his signature guns, Donner and Schlag. I also dawned my mask with 'Muramasa' in hand.
"Let's begin." saying that the battle started.
Without saying anything Hajime took on all the monsters on his right and in tandem I took the monsters on my left.
The monster look-a-like minotaurs and orcs came at me swinging their clubs.
I with a smile on my face casually swung Muramasa, easily taking out the monsters in my way. With each of my swings, I took out multiple monsters like they were helpless chickens. The monsters then tried to do a synchronised three-way attack which was too bad for them, before they could move, I sliced their head off.
While I was dealing with the monsters, through my <Mana Sense> I sensed a monster with <Stealth> skills trying to sneak behind for an attack. So, I let it come closer until it came into range. As soon as it prepared its attack, I swung my sword in a full circle cutting down the monster's body horizontally without looking back and continuing to take down more monsters.
On Hajime's side, he also didn't have much trouble dealing with the monsters, with each of his bullets he took out multiple monsters in his way, and once in a while, he used a punch and kick to knock back the monster into another and takes them out with one bullet.
Kouki, Meld and others waking up from their unconsciousness see them take out those monsters so easily and wonder who are they.
Ryutarou thinking the same, voices it, "Who are they?"
Endou who was helping the injured classmate said, "Ah… Sakagami you might not believe this, but they are Sakai and Nagumo."
"..."
Everyone hearing that looks at Endou with disbelieve in their eyes.
"Eh… you mean that Sakai and Nagumo, who fell and disappeared in the dungeon," Kouki asked in astonishment.
"Yes, I also was surprised when I met them, from what I heard they somehow fought their way through the dungeon and found an exit," Endou responded.
Meld hearing that they survived smiled at that, "I am glad that they didn't give up, and it seems in the depths of the dungeon whatever happened to them, it had made them stronger." Meld seeing them alright was happy, till this day he blamed himself he couldn't help them. But now seeing them alright he felt a large weight in his heart was lifted.
While many of the classmates were happy seeing their classmates survive, there also few were also unhappy.
"What the hell are you saying, no way… someone can survive from that!" Hiyama with a pale face shouted.
"You guys were all so there, you guys have also seen it How Rihito vanished, how Hajime fell. There is no way they could have survived that."
"There is no way it's them, they don't even look the same, it must be another plan from the demons. They must be planning something," Hiyama tries to make them think that they are lying about their identity.
Endou and others seeing the hysteric behaviour from Hiyama look at him strangely.
"Hiyama, what has got into you, I was there when the guild master introduced them to me, and I also talked to them. So, I am sure it's them." Endou tried to clear the misunderstanding Hiyama was having.
Hiyama hearing those words from Endou glared at him with bloodshot eyes, "You…"
But before he could say more, suddenly a large amount of cold water poured down on top of Hiyama, silencing him.
Then a monotone girl's voice was heard, "Silence, your loud voice will attract those monsters. Don't act like a nuisance."
While Yue talked down Hiyama, two Minotaur monsters appeared behind her and swung their clubs.
Seeing the incoming attack on Yue the girls from the mage group warned, "Be careful!!"
Eri, "Move away!"
Suzu wanting to help tried to cover Yue with a barrier. But she was too late to cover Yue.
Yue seeing the worried looks from Suzu and others smiled, "Don't worry, I got this."
Saying that she chanted, "<Sapphire Serpent>"
Surrounding Yue a blue flame manifested and took the shape of a blue fire serpent which rose and devoured the Minotaurs.
Suzu, Eri and others seeing the display of magic were agape. They couldn't believe there was someone out there with this kind of magic talent. Some students who also use fire magic looked at Yue with admiration.

Shizuku seeing the display of magic from Yue was speechless, she wondered, [Just where did Rihito and Hajime find these strong people.]
"As expected of Yue," Shea standing beside her praised.
Shizuku then suddenly sensing danger looked in Shea's direction and warned, "Look behind you." and pulled the Katana from its sheath.
Shea already anticipating the attack stood there nonchalantly, without even looking she threw a punch, the punch clashed with the monster's club and broke through it sending the monster flying.
"Boom!!"
Shea then used her spacial ring and took out Drucken, looking at the monster heading her way she started to send the monsters flying.
Shizuku saw Shea's display of might and was not so surprised, she even somehow expected it to be the case. Shaking her head she also focused on the monster that was heading her way.
Pointing the pitch-black blade of Katana at the monster, she used <Ground Shrinker> and appeared behind the Orc and slashed off the neck. To Shizuku's surprise, the sword easily cut through the monster, unlike the artefact she used until now this sword that Rihito gave her was head and shoulders above that, to her it seemed on par with Kouki's holy sword.
Shizuku wanting to test the Katana more looks at the monsters with a battle grin and lept at them.

Rihito, after taking out all the monsters on his side, saw the demon chanting. Frowning seeing this he made a flicking gesture and sent a shockwave, which sent the demon flying into the wall. Then he appeared in front of the demon hoisting Muramasa on his shoulder.
Cattleya looks at me with hatred and growls, "You, who the hell are you?!! You guys ruined everything. If only you guys didn't appear, then…"
"Then you would have continued your march on to the dungeon and gained the hidden power that lies in the depths of this dungeon, am I correct?" I said cutting off the demon's words.
"..."
Cattleya looked at me in astonishment, [How does he know about that.] then she realised something, "I see, you people are just like that person." Cattleya giving up smiled self-deprecatingly.
Hajime cleared the remaining monster and stood beside me, "It seems one of you demons also had gained one of the Ages of God magic, and through that, you are able to control monsters, thus you want to gain another age of God magic. Am I wrong," Hajime said pointing Donner at the demon's forehead.
Cattleya sighed to herself and looked at us with a half-smile, "You know that much, then what are you waiting for, kill me already. Or are you hoping for me to beg for my life, if you think that, then sorry to disappoint you, I will be doing nothing like that."
Ignoring everything she said, I asked, "Tell me who is that person you mentioned." I wanted to know whether it was the same person or not. [Well, she will likely refuse to say anything.]
"Hahaha… you think I will tell you, an enemy anything about that," Cattleya said knowing this was her last conversation.
"I Guess this is goodbye then…" as soon I said that Hajime was ready to pull the trigger.
But annoyance to both of us someone spoke up, "Wait!! Sakai, Nagumo don't kill her."
