Alice and Talon sat across from each other at a cozy cafe, enjoying the warm glow of the ambient lighting. Alice was dressed casually in jeans and a white t-shirt, while Talon was dressed in a nice shirt and slacks. They were catching up before Talon's trip to Japan the next day.

"Did you make it?" asked Alice, her curiosity evident in her tone.

Talon nodded, a slight smile on his face. "Yes, I made it through the first round. But there will be a second selection phase in two months."

Alice's face lit up with excitement. "That's amazing! Congratulations!"

Talon chuckled. "Thanks, it's a relief to make it this far. But there's still a lot of competition."

"Paolo is a rising young talent, only 27, and he already landed a lead role in a movie. And get this - he can sing and do acrobatics too. Competing with someone like him is pretty incredible," Alice remarked.
