As Kir's training continued, it was Stella who homed in on the clearing, using her familiar bond.

"There you two are," she said, instantly laying on the snark as she looked around at the destroyed trees. "The fuckin' was that good, huh?"

"We didn't-! This was from training!" Kir responded, having barely recovered the energy to be flustered.

"Hush," Amarena said to Stella. "Where are the others?"

"You want me to hush or tell you where the others are?" Stella teased back.

Amarena crossed her arms and smirked, gesturing with her arm. Kir, meanwhile, stood. He was about done with meditating on his wrath... trying to infuse the mana he was already used to compressing with his sense of self.

"Fine," Stella relented, "They're staying in town, but there's also some soldiers there. It'll be easier for the three of us to just camp out."
