A few hours ago, Loki arrived at the Shi'ar Empire's warehouse, carrying a space storage device provided by Asgard. She was there to retrieve the Dimension Cutting Equipment.
As the official story was that they were cooperating with other civilizations within the Nine Major Kingdoms, this was a secret exchange. When Loki took the Dimension Cutting Equipment, there was hardly any disturbance, and no one knew about it except the queen and a few close servants.
After she left Ferocious Feather Star, she immediately found a deserted place with Thanos to start dividing the spoils.
This Dimension Cutting Technology was just what Thanos needed. After all, he was currently without aid or equipment, and even if he went to that cosmos and took down his good brother, he still couldn't carry those things away.
But with this technology, he could gain a piece of territory and the resources accumulated by the Thanos of that cosmos. As Shiller and Strange had theorized, there wasn't much, but Thanos didn't have a choice.
More importantly, in order to get this technology, Thanos granted Loki many benefits. In fact, it could be said that Loki has drawn Thanos into the deep pit of Ragnorak, making him one of Asgard's proud debt laborers.
But to put it another way, the entire Earth and other civilizations within the Nine Major Kingdoms are also Asgard's debt laborers. Maintaining Asgard's absolutely superior military position is beneficial to everyone. Not everyone is qualified to cling to Asgard's thighs.
Clearly, Thanos had also realized that cooperating with Asgard has more benefits than drawbacks, so he didn't mind having a deeper interest binding with Asgard. The struggle for interstellar dominance is the same as any international struggle - there are no perpetual friends, only perpetual interests.
Thanos and Loki both understood this, so they didn't bother with small talk. Loki directly handed the equipment to Thanos, and they took the subway together back to the greater world, taking the same route through the Spider Legion's Multiverse pathway, and arrived in the cosmos where Peter had previously been.
Loki hadn't planned to bring the Peter of this cosmos back, but after considering that Spider Man was, after all, a strong laborer and a local, he would be more familiar with the situation, so she brought Peter along before they left.
However, Loki and Peter didn't go to Titan Planet with Thanos. Mainly because Thanos didn't want them to go to Titan. His feelings for his birthplace were mixed. His bitter love didn't need to be revealed to outsiders. Loki didn't have an interest in knowing more about it. She planned to visit Asgard in this cosmos.
So, upon landing, they took different paths. Thanos, acting according to instinct, headed to Titan. But Loki was a little lost.
Loki felt that her connection with the World Tree was somewhat weak. The portal opened several times without getting to the right place, consuming quite a bit of energy. She needed to find somewhere to restore her magic power first.
Loki took Peter along for a chaotic tour of the cosmos. As they wandered, Loki discovered something wrong with this cosmos - the interstellar society was too quiet.
She was opening portals all over the cosmos, changing locations indiscriminately, yet they didn't encounter a single spacecraft. This would be impossible in her cosmos.
The cosmos was indeed vast, and the numerous civilizations scattered like needles in a haystack. But Loki intentionally opened portals in energy-rich areas, so the probability of falling into prosperous star zones was still high. But after teleporting several times, all she could see was the dark cosmos and stars.
Just minutes after her latest teleportation, Loki finally saw signs of life - or rather, signs of past life. Now, only ruins remained.
What appeared before her was a vast area of ruins. It looked like the remnants left after a planet had been shattered. Nearby, there were also remains of two scorched starships, with only their tails left.
From the perspective of these broken pieces, the untouched star in the distance was gradually fading. In the residual light, all that was left in the vast star zone were ruins.
Loki was shocked because she saw a familiar sign on the wreckage of the starship. It was the national emblem of the Kree Empire.
"What happened to the Kree Empire? Did they wage a millennium war with the Skrull Empire again? But it looks like they were not depleted in a stand-off, but rather, directly destroyed."
"Who has the power to directly destroy the fleet of the Kree Empire?"
Loki muttered to herself while leading Peter towards the center of the wreckage. What she saw further corroborated her theory. Among the gaps of the wreckage floated the corpses of the Kree. There were no signs of a struggle on their bodies; they were all killed instantly.
"Is Thanos's snap that powerful?" Loki murmured to herself. Yet Peter opened his mouth, looking somewhat puzzled, "No, they didn't die from the snap."
Listening to Peter's unwavering tone, Loki turned to look at him. Peter said confidently, "I've seen people who died from the Infinity Gem. They will directly turn to dust, not like this, leaving their corpses behind."
"... what the hell is happening?" Loki took Peter and flew deeper into the star zone. As they delved deeper into the wreckage, she discovered more anomalies.
"How could the fleet of the Kree Empire be so weak?" Loki was very confused. She said, "Where are their planet warships? Why are there only these small ships? Why don't I see the Supreme Wisdom's guards? Aren't they the troops that every Kree Empire fleet must have?"
