Delilah woke up in the morning feeling groggy as hell.

Though lovers, especially mates, are supposed to feel relaxed and have the best sleep of their lives in the arms of their loved ones, she was so angry that she wanted to just beat anyone who would appear in front of her at that moment.

Her entire body was aching and sore.

And no, it wasn't because something happened between her and the elder prince. It was all because the man fell asleep like a wooden log and wouldn't let her go, no matter how hard she tried.

By the time he woke up with the best smile, that would've made her fall in love with him all over again, her body had completely gone stiff and she really wanted to punch the man in the face if not for his mesmerizing eyes.

"Miss Delilah, you are awake. Are you -" Jacob started to speak as soon as he saw her descending the stairs.

However, one look into her dark eyes, he knew not to utter another word if he wanted to live.
