章 33: A different nightmare

"Hi neighbor."

It was a short message, but to Abe it was like a million words.

"Here we go again." Abe sighed.

"Good evening." He replied

" Hope you had fun today?" The reply came fast, as usual.

"Yeah you could put it like that." Abe tapped on the send button.

"Well I had fun today."

"Ohhh okay, please tell me about it." Abe replied with a sigh.

He knew fully well that even if he didn't ask about how her day went, she'd still tell him about it.

So why not indulge her, and pretend that he cares? At Least that would be better.

"So I went to the spa, and then....."

Jemina rambled on and on about her day and how fun it was, with other female stuff that Abe didn't understand and didn't care about.

He just couldn't wait for her to send him the night-ending 'Goodnight' message.

Abe checked the time, 9:34pm.

He was going to sleep early today, he felt tired for an unknown reason but first he had to deal with Jemina's text.
