"Lady Victoria, we need to discuss what's been happening with Karyan," Barbara said as she closed the door behind her.
Victoria held the baby closer to her chest, her eyes reflecting her worry. "Barbara, I'm at my wit's end with Karyan. He's become so demanding, forcing me to do things I'm not comfortable with."
Barbara sat down across from her, her expression seemed more serious. "Tell me everything, Victoria. What has he been forcing you to do?"
