Samar returned home in the evening, the conclusion of his conversation with Nidar occupying his mind. His concentration was broken when he heard a loud exclamation.

"Shhh!" Saras shushed her hurriedly, worried someone would eavesdrop on them. His eyes darted around the street sneakily but no one was around as they had already reached their lane. Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief and leveled a glare at Stivi. 

"Oops?" Stivi said with an impish smile, not at all sorry for her gaffe. The excitement in her eyes was too obvious and he checked the message from the bank.
