The moment Samar's arrow hit the Corpse Incarnation, it started to disintegrate into dust particles.
The skeletons, the Elven NPCs, the cemetery, the town… Everything around them began to fade away leaving behind only haunted cries of war, anger, sorrow, grief and relief.
"No wonder they call it the Echo Instance…" Samar realized as the images and voices of the Elven NPCs on the wall continued to echo in his ears and heart long after they had faded away.
Those shadows left an imprint of the past Elves on him, slowly helping Samar recognize himself as a true Elf and not just as a Deathless Being of Elven Faction.
