章 413: Duality [1]

Chaos erupted from the moment the Chalice shattered. The Priests all picked up the broken pieces of the Chalice as they tried their best to find ways to mend it back together.

But it was useless.

….There was no fixing the artifact.

It was broken beyond repair. 

"….."

The Cardinal watched the chaos in silence. His expression was hard to read, but if one looked closely, they'd notice a certain flicker in his eyes.

"Cardinal, what do we do?"

All of a sudden, one of the priests approached him.

The Cardinal looked their way and shook his head.

"I do not know. I will contact His Holiness to determine what to do. For now, collect all the remains of the Chalice before I give you further instructions."

"Understood."

The Priest left shortly after that, repeating the Cardinal's orders.
