章 24: FRUITS OF STUBBORNNESS

The warmth. I still remember the delicious warmth I woke up to that morning. Strangely, the steadiness of both of us breathing rhythmically was calming. Though I was half awake, I was too reluctant to shift away from the comfort I felt. It had been a while since I slept so well.

"Hmmm..." I sighed in satisfaction and snuggled deeper into the warmth I enjoyed. The scent that overwhelmed my senses was strangely familiar and comfy so I wasn't alarmed by where I was until I heard a deep husky voice.

"I would give anything to know what made you moan in your sleep."

Immediately, I opened my eyes to find myself buried in my boss's arms, my head resting on his shoulder and my face touching the nook of his neck.

"Ahhhh!" I shrieked as I pulled away from him only to be pulled back. He still had his arms wrapped around me.
