章 28: Share A Room With You?

Kimberly knew that now that the call was over, Melvin would want to ask her about most of the stuff Star had said, especially about the ring, and she wasn't looking forward to more arguments with him.

"What was she saying about the ring?" Melvin asked and Kimberly shrugged.

"It's nothing serious. I told her it was my lucky ring. You know, like a lucky bracelet and stuff," she said nonchalantly, and Melvin looked at her for a second before choosing to believe her.

Instead of leaving for the guest room, Melvin remained where he stood looking at Kimberly and she raised a brow. "What?" She asked wondering why he was staring at her that way.

"I'm thinking about my meeting with Mr. Rogers tomorrow," Melvin said, reminding Kimberly that she had asked him that before Star's call came in.

"Yeah. What do we do about it if things don't go back to normal by morning?" Kimberly asked, and Melvin sighed.
