章 87: Alone in the desert:

A large bird could be seen above the ground, tearing through the sand-filled winds. A humanoid figure was sitting on its back, a hand covering the face, blocking the incoming sand particles.

Although it was strange, there was not much sand landing on Alex because most of them were guided aside by rue

Rue flew and flew, not stopping in her trail. She was fast and accurate in her direction, carefully following Alex's lead, who told her to approach a particular place.

This was a large hoodoo in the middle of nowhere. It was like a solitary pillar, thick and expanded, like a building standing in the middle of the desert.

It told a tale of how carefully nature was in sculpting this pillar, as the lower part was smooth and even, while above, at the utmost peak, was a sphere.
