In an instant, they scrambled to their feet, their movements awkward and jittery as they attempted to compose themselves and show proper respect in the presence of their queen.

"Your Majesty…" they murmured in unison, their voices soft and respectful as they lowered their heads in deference.

They exchanged nervous glances before the most talkative girl dropped to her knees, bowing her head to the ground.

However the last part of their conversation eluded her.

With a gentle smile, Sophia acknowledged their gestures of respect before gracefully gliding away from the scene, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her own.
