As the Audi came to a stop in front of the mansion, the president stood at the apex of a human triangle formed by staff and bodyguards who had gathered to greet Alonso and Natalie. He waved at them with a seemingly oblivious demeanor, offering a warm welcome that concealed any acknowledgment of the visit he had made to the hospital.

Those were Natalie's sarcastic thoughts, but she pushed them away feeling the tension build within her. With Alonso and Jack on either side, Natalie got out of the Audi and climbed the stairs to the mansion's door where the president was waiting. "Welcome back," he said with a neutral tone.
"Thank you," she answered politely. "Alonso, can you take me to our room?"
"Let's go inside, baby girl."
