章 13: Yup, I died
"Anabel of Gerald, how do you plea on the count of first-degree murder, blah, blah, blah, blah!"
"They deserved it!"
"I would reconsider my words if I were you, miss. Your testimony has been incriminating so far."
I wanted to restrain myself from getting into more trouble, but something didn't feel right. Letting them get away with accusing me of crimes I did not remember doing felt wrong, so I eventually imploded.
"The plaintiff has been found guilty under undeniable evidence and is therefore sentenced to death by hanging! Any last words?"
"Yeah, Fuck all of you! Fuck your stupid world and your stupid magic! May you all die and come down to hell with me. I'll be waiting for you all, mother fuc! UGGHH NNUGGUUHGH!!"
The guards quickly stopped my temper tantrum, and that was how I got myself the death penalty and also how I died basically. My story was about to end. Damn, dam, I only made it twelve chapters in before dying. That was awful.
Or so you might have thought, my story still needs to be completed. I refuse! DAGA KOTOWARU! By my hand, I shall not let the writer kill me off so goddam quickly! So what if I have to break the fourth wall to do so!? I refuse to let this be my end! Change it now!

Well, I tried; it is time to die, then. It was a dramatic scene; I was dragged around with the other criminals sentenced to death like I was one of them. The guards took no pity on me, and neither did the people; apparently, killing little girls was also normal here.
I refused to accept this reality until the very end, when I was forcefully dragged onto the hanging platform in which they had to put a chair for me to step on because I was too short.
"I refuse, I refuse; it cannot be the end! I refuse!"
"Shut up already! Now lower your neck already! Stop moving!"
Death was before me, and I was scared; it hadn't hit me like that yet. Was I really about to die? Already? No way, right? This was just all a plot twist by the writer, right?! Surely this wasn't the end of it all?!

"Daily criminal number five! For three counts of manslaughter, you have been sentenced to death by hanging by order of the city's court and, therefore, shall be hung to death now! DROP THEM!"
I didn't want to die, so I struggled as much as I could. I tried to grab the rope from above my neck, but when the guards saw me trying to avoid death, they became cruel and finally accomplished their goal of killing me by slashing my hands until I couldn't hold onto the rope any longer, letting me hang loose from my neck until I died.
"I can offer you a way out of this mess and give you another chance at life in another part of this world. All you have to do is entertain me; your attitude and will to live is amusing."
"What?! Who said that?! And why does everything look like it stopped?!"
"I'm the superior God of all realms. I rule over the Goddess that sent you here. Now, what do you say? You get another chance, and I get more drama; how does that sound?"
Duh! What kind of stupid question was that? Of course, I didn't want to die; come on, get me out of this death already! I want to reset my own doing!
"Alright, deal! Try not to die so fast next time, okay? I'm only helping you because I'm in a good mood, but I won't always come to save you."
"Are you going to lift my magic ban too?"
"Nah, you'll have to figure out another way to attack; I'm sure you'll be able to figure something out. please survive longer."
