Hello once again. This is the last in the list of the three minor elements, as previously mentioned, implying we would be enlightened about the eight historical landmarks of Royalty Pack.
These eight landmarks were the Lynx of Law, the Old Royal Castle, the Statue of Alpha, the Demoness Queen's Statue and last in the list, the four Towers of Veil.
• First, we should know their locations:
Briefly, each of the eight of them were located as follows:
1) The Lynx of Law: On the Right Shoulder, at an average distance close to the River of Origin. Its compass bearing was southwest.
2) The Old Royal Castle: In the middle likewise above the flowing River of Origin, in a close distance with the Lynx of Law but in a far away distance with the statue of the Demoness Queen. Its compass bearing west.
3) The Statue of Alpha: On the Right Shoulder, somewhere in absolute alignment with the extendable bridge connecting the Right Shoulder and the Left Shoulder. If we should leave this statue and move north, then it means we could have the extendable glass bridge extended for us. Its compass bearing was somewhat in between south and southeast.
4) The Demoness Queen's statue: Found on the Left Shoulder, not very far from the cluster of Winter Apples trees. It was a far neighbor of the Old Royal Castle and its compass bearing was absolutely northwest.
5) The four Towers of Veil: Outside of Royalty Pack were they located, each of them in close neighborhood with the four Veils of Realms. Their compass bearings were east, northeast, west and northwest.
• In a Nutshell:
1) The Lynx of Law: Southwest.
2) The Old Royal Castle: West.
3) The Statue of Alpha: South/southeast.
4) The Demoness Queen's Statue: Northwest.
5) The fou Towers of Veils: East, northeast, west and northwest.
• Their Looks and Features.
1) The Lynx of Law: Is there anyone among us that has ever been to Egypt or maybe is from Egypt? If Egypt is mentioned, what comes to our minds? Without doubt, our brains immediately picture the pyramids and the Great Sphinx of Giza!
For total clarification, the Great Sphinx of Giza is that statue of a mythical creature having the body of a lion and the head of a human. In our case, the Lynx of Law was something like that... but there were some differences.
The Lynx of Law was exactly a gravels-made statue of a Lynx (Lynx, a short-tailed wild cat with usually tufted ears; valued for their furs). Its body posture was like that of the Great Sphinx of Giza, facing the River of Origin from an average distance.
It was where the Behest Courier resided, passing out information from the Absolute Law to the whole world when needed.
Interior of the Lynx of Law was rumored to be a dark prison, as well, of the creatures hidden by the Absolute Law.
But then, apart from its creators, for thousands of years, no one has entered this mysterious landmark except the Behest Courier, whose function was solely passing out the accurate messages to be delivered from the Absolute Law and going back into it.
The Lynx of Law had an angry expression that scared children during dark storms and bright days. Its eyes normally glowed yellow during the night. Mysterious and creepy.
2) The Old Royal Castle: the word "beautiful" is defined by this landmark and its description would entirely consume our imaginations.
Above a powerfully passing BIG river, there was a protruding black rock that had a pointed end sticking out of its surface. Above that sharp point was a downwards pointed rock, both of the upward and downward points almost kissing each other.
As we move up and higher, the rock above the other keeps growing in size and enlarging until it becomes so large for our liking, turning into a floating island.
One would need to be in a good distance to have a magnificent view.
The Old Royal Castle was situated on an island of rock that looked to be flying above a flowing river. Below the rocky island that seemed to be flying were several protruding rocks with pointed ends above the water.
The castle magnetically stood at one of the edges of the rock island. Painting its background was a rock protrusion imitating the shape of a mighty mountain which had a lot of trees of the color orange and pink growing on it. The rock imitating a mountain's shape likewise had a snowy peak as if, truly, it was a mountain.
Now taking our eyes downwards, directly below the island (that seemed to be floating) was a blue energy source which was situated right below the abandoned castle. Indeed, this was the power source of the old castle, still running with full force like the day it was created and therefore serving as its source of light.
Lastly, there were many rock spikes that were sticking away out of the flowing water, like some bent bars engaging the island. Beautiful.
3) The Demoness Queen's statue: Even though the Queen was nowhere to be found, one of her sculptures was to be found in Royalty Pack, all fearsome, all suffocating.
Let's mention New York to picture the Statue of Liberty that's currently found on Liberty Island, holding a touch in one hand and a tablet in the other one. Everyone knows that statue.
Having the aforementioned statue in mind, time to envision the features of the Demoness Queen's statue:
She was in her Demon form, three thick-twisting horns on her head with only the left one remaining unbroken. Her two shoulder blades were made of the horns' material, twisting but short.
Her masked face and her neck were covered in a cooled molten lava. Starting from her breasts down to her hips, lava adorned it and from there down to the floor, her skirt covering the floor was made of cooled lava.
Both of her hands were a mixture of molten and cooled lava, as well.
4) The Statue of Alpha: This was the statue of the first Werewolf capable of shifting into the five different forms of Werewolves (six in his case).
He was a very dark skinned middle aged man. Having a stem of a tree that was cut, he sat on it confidently as if it was a chair.
Only his private parts were covered with a piece of clothing that was probably made from the skin of a wolf.
Using his right hand, he appeared to be supporting the weight of his body on a cut branch of a stem. With his left hand, he supported the upper half of his body on his bare left lap.
Alpha had an averagely defined masculine muscles and his hair was that of typical Africans. His expression was unreadable, looking over his right shoulder like wondering what was happening around him at the distance.
5) The Four Towers of Veils: Looking like erected towers of wizards made from ash-like stones, the towers were similar in appearance. Resembling their bodies and connected with the ground were sloppy ash-like rocks that had greeneries over their surface, all days round the year. Those rocks had frew protrusions.
Moving up the tall towers would be sloppy for any kind of creature. Its peak was like the roof of hut houses, allowing anyone inside of it to have a 360° clear view of the far distance.
Even though the outside of Royalty Pack mostly basked in sunshine, the towers had thick smoky fogs blocking any sort of light. During the nights, those fog emit faint-hearted white radiance.
Always, it was neither too bright nor too dark around the four Towers of Veils.
• Brief History and Significance of the Landmarks
(1) The Lynx of Law:
This was the oldest landmark to be found in Royalty Pack. It dated back to the era of the second great war after victory was claimed by the Werewolves.
As thought in schools and as found in history, lynx symbol represented something powerful, angry and stubborn.
It was also associated with the fact that the lynx was the majestic animal ruling over its inferiors as Royalty Pack was transforming from a barren land to a complex settlement.
Theorized by so many individuals until it became a common myth, the lynx's yellow eyes indicated a hidden power of wizards that could multi control the minds in order to rule every kind of animal no matter their number, no matter their size nor their strength.
No record of the Lynx of Law being renovated or infiltrated could be found in any library or as such. Only one individual resided in it and that was the Behest Courier.
As records had it, then in the far past, few Werewolves worshiped the statue. However, their beliefs had nothing to keep it going down their generations; vanishing as fast as it appeared.
Events associated with the Lynx of Law were numerous and beyond ordinary abilities of the supernaturals. Throughout its existence, it remained supreme and the center of every law regarding the realms and the creatures in it.
In the novel, we shall see that all facts about the Lynx of Law revolved around it being invincible.
Lastly, it served as an open center of tourism.
2) The Old Royal Castle: the Werewolves associating to it the word "old", we can tell that just like the Lynx of Law, no one could tell how old it was because the vampires dating system was not even invented.
Nonetheless there was a new Royal Castle which however, was not the reason for why the Old Royal Castle had the word "old" in its name. It was indeed very old.
It symbolized nothing more than bad memories and tragedy. For every lustful Alpha that bore numerous heirs to the Dark Throne, it was used as a means of transferring those heirs into something known as Game of Heritage for a new Alpha to be made.
The tragic aspect was that many lives were lost in the castle in order for a new Alpha to come into power. The pink and orange leaved trees were planted around the castle to indicate that those deaths were for the purpose of peace and for the best of all.
For sure, the outsides of Old Royal Castle were renovated from time to time. It initially was built from very cheap raw materials of the first era of Werewolves and now from expensive materials like the Vamus Rock and as such.
The insides, however, served as a center of historical studies as everything in it was preserved the way it was from the beginning.
3) The Statue of Alpha: After living for four thousand five hundred and thirty four years, Alpha's time was over and he died. It wasn't long after which his statue was carved in Royalty Pack during the early Third Bloodline Era (3rd B.E.). On the day that Max set out of Anyway city in search of Evelyn, the statue was approximately nine thousand eight hundred years old.
Surprisingly there was never a single crack on the polished black statue. It never needed a reconstruction as its strange material was indestructible.
Countless powerful tornadoes and thunders — in addition to other natural and artificial disasters — were useless in attempting to make a scratch on it and up till then, nothing in the realms had the strength of making it move an inch from its position. It was as heavy as Earth.
Its hardness was a symbol that amazing knowledge and resources were lost through the span of never ending days. Even the Vampires didn't have enough resources to study it at the microscopic level.
Alpha's statue was made out of the most confusing, hardest known material. The only explanation to its hardness was a theory saying that the Wizards, after their extinction, appeared at a point in time and assisted in building the statue.
The theory was full of holes as for the Wizards helping the Werewolves in any way after the existence of the Absolute Law was something impossible and unimaginable.
Lastly, it was just a heavy, hard statue of a legendary Werewolf. Nothing more than that.
4) The Statue of the Demoness Queen: It was the youngest amongst the already mentioned landmarks, a suffocation instigating statue because it represented the only leader of the Demon Race in her demonic form.
Approximately, the statue had lived for more than two hundred years having been built during the 6th B.E. Purely made from the Vamus Rock, it was intact and all solid when Max arrived at Royalty Pack.
The Queen and her race were taken out of existence by the Absolute Law. Throughout the history of Demons, she remained as the one and only brave Queen of her race, exercising hundreds of years of slumber or being actively alive.
Her statue was made in Royalty Pack to remind the children and the old what the figure of the greatest leader of all time looks like. Her departure left the realms in a bitter taste, alerting the different races that the Absolute Law could hide them from existence no matter their good deeds if deemed as the right way of law.
Unlike the Lynx of Law, the Old Royal Castle or even the Statue of Alpha, the Queen's statue had no extraordinary traits.
As a matter of fact, the Queen and her race had no outside enemies willing to see them never coming back to existence if possible. Her statue was a constant reminder to everyone that they were at the mercy of the Absolute Law for thousands of years, and for an unknown amount of time to come.
5) The Four Towers of Veil: In the beginning were the races traveling on land, air and water, from one realm to another. In the 7th B.E. (that is the current Bloodline Era), the Dragon Descendants invented the Veils of Realms with the assistance of the Absolute Law.
Those Dragon Descendants were assigned with building towers that could house the extraordinary powers channeled from the Lynx of Law in order to keep the Veils active for easier transport from one realm to another.
Therefore, the towers were not found outside of Royalty Pack alone. However, it was something fascinating to students and scholars for no matter how much they studied it, they couldn't understand the mechanism behind its working principles.
Even the Dragon Descendants had a very limited knowledge to only knowing what the towers were made up of. But to explain how it worked, they couldn't know any more. The Absolute Law was bending the laws of magic and physics beyond easy comprehension.
After the invention of the towers, life became very easy as transportation across the realms was subject to easiness, thus who cared what law made up the towers? Scholars and students did care a lot!
This is the end of the three minor elements.
Let's see what comes next...
