章 8: New Familiar
Third Person PoV
Currently Kojou was again standing in the
eastern subfloat of Itogami Island. This time along with Asagi and Nagisa.
Kojou glanced at Nagisa and then thought back to what led to her coming here together with them.
*Flashback no Jutsu*
"Asagi, can you take care of the cameras near the eastern subfloat? I am going to check out my latest familiar."
"Sure! I will also come along."
"I also want to see a new familiar!"
"Nagisa, you are a middle schooler."
"And you are a high schooler, not a big difference Kojou-kun, let me go too!"
"Fine! But you will listen to me obediently."
"Yeah!"
Kojou sighed at his inability to be strict with his little sister.
*Jutsu Over*
Asagi came near Kojou and looked at him expecting to do something. Kojou looked at her weirdly and asked
"Is there something on my face?"
"No. You need to jump while carrying me right?"
Kojou smirked.
"Not this time. Stand aside and watch!"
Kojou raised his left arm, which was now black with red lines and emitting a eerie black aura and spoke
"I, Akatsuki Kojou, successor to the blood of "Kaleid Blood", now release your constraints. Come, Twelfth Familiar, Alrescha-Glacies!"
With Kojou releasing his familiar the surrounding temperatures fell down fastly. And a ginormous mermaid appeared in the air.
And All the marine life near the vicinity of Itogami Island and even miles away felt a compulsion to follow the commands of this mermaid.
The water between the main float and the subfloat was quickly frozen to make an ice bridge.
Seeing that both Asagi and Nagisa were shocked. Asagi came out of her shock quickly as she had seen another one of Kojou's beast vassals.
"I don't think I will get used to you summoning these majestic creatures."
Asagi commented while Nagisa squealed
"It's so huge! Kojou-kun that is my beast vassal?"
"Well no."
Nagisa deflated hearing that but Kojou continued
"But you can summon it if you are in danger."
"Yippee! Kojou-kun show me Asagi-chan's familiar too!"
"Let's go over to the subfloat first Nagisa!"
The three of them then walked over to the subfloat all the while gazing at the frozen marvel created by the new familiar of Kojou.
Asagi was pouting and grumbling over losing her chance to be carried by Kojou under her breath.
And Kojou knew that she was annoyed and was pretty happy getting one over her.
After reaching the eastern subfloat Kojou then summoned his other familiar, Mesarthim-Adamas to show it to Nagisa.
"Wow! That sheep is so fluffy!"
The familiar snorted it's nose as if saying that he is not a fluffy sheep.
"Nagisa, just so you know he is made up of pure diamond, so no fluffy."
"Aww! But can't you sell the diamonds to be rich?"
Kojou looked at Nagisa and said
"Nagisa, you are a genius! I can become the youngest billionaire by this!"
But both the siblings plans were drowned by Asagi with her facts.
"Kojou selling diamonds in large numbers will bring down their value, worst case if you go overboard it may cause an economic crisis. So no selling diamonds unless necessary. Also aren't you already rich?"
"But it's not my money!" Kojou was making the best possible puppy eyes he could. His vampire fangs and red eyes were not helping at all.
"There is no personal money, it's all our money!"
Seeing that Asagi was not budging Kojou motioned to Nagisa who also looked at Asagi expectantly and made the puppy dog eyes.
Asagi still maintained her stance but Kojou still had a trick up his sleeve.
He made his familiars do the puppy dog eyes too. And finally Asagi loosened up a bit seeing two small and two large dog-like eyes on a human, vampire, mermaid and sheep.
"Fine! But only in very small amounts and give them to me, I will sell them using a fake ID."
"Okay!"
The response was instantaneous.
After that Kojou once again practised some moves with both his beast vassals, using the twelfth more. And then they went back home.

Just like last time a magic circle appeared and Natsuki Minamiya came out from it. She looked at the mana fluctuations in the surroundings and was worried.
As even she can't produce this much, even when her Rain Gold is unsealed. She simply sighed and went away to check the english homework.
Just as she went the wind moved near a container and it began to take the shape of a person.
"Kojou, you have already reached this level. I guess I need to tell Shizuka to hurry up, or else who knows what will happen."
The person said that to no one but himself and again vanished alongside the wind.

Asagi and Kojou were sitting on the couch in the living room. Nagisa had already gone to sleep as she isn't used to sleeping late and waking up early.
Asagi is used to pulling all nighters and Kojou can go on without sleep for weeks. So they were sitting and talking about something.
Just then Asagi's phone rang and her face changed when she checked what the notification was.
"Asagi what happened?"
"Mogwai just sent me the location of the kidnappers from that day."
Hearing that the casual air of the room instantly became tense and Kojou's eye became red.
"Where?"
Asagi looked at him and said
"Leave it to me. I will-" Asagi said but was interrupted by Kojou
"No! I need to do this."
"Kojou no one will force you to do this. Even if you don't Nagisa-chan or me wouldn't think less of you."
"No, Asagi. Sooner or later I will be forced to make a decision whether I want to kill or not. I would rather make it now, then be in a dilemma in a precarious position."
Hearing that Asagi was silent. As what Kojou said was correct. He can only live without getting his hands dirty for so long. The 4th Primogenitor has too many people aiming for his power or to use him.
And when it comes to Nagisa or Asagi, Kojou will fight back. And some people only understand things when they are dead.
"Fine! But you will come back here just after doing this. Do you understand?"
"Sure."
Asagi forwarded the location to Kojou and watched him walk away with a serious look on his face.

In an abandoned warehouse in the southern subfloat four men were sitting and playing poker.
Two men were busy talking with each other in a hushed voice.
"Where is the payment? You said it was just a normal kidnapping but that boy was freakishly strong. Either you raise the money or be on your way!"
The man with brown coloured hair said sternly to the man with a scarred face. The scarred face man was looking like he was nearing his breakdown.
"Money this, money that! Don't you care for my brother that died!! I will give you money just get me those two brats!!"
"I don't give a fuck about your brother, only money and my life."
Just then the gate of the warehouse opened slowly.
The bottom of the door scraped along the ground creating noise alerting all the men inside.
The hinge creaked a few more times and then a boy was standing near the door. A white hoodie covering his face, only revealing glowing red eyes.
The scarred man was about to scream but the other stooped him and said.
"How did you get here, Boy!"
The lion therianthrope figured out that Kojou was the same boy in the apartment.
And now he had a strong sense to run away, as he knew that he was not a match for him.
If they could get his sister first, then he could be blackmailed but now, they were cornered.
'No he is still a novice, he didn't know how to fight properly against therianthropes. Yes he only knows how to fight humans.'
"You lot, get serious. We are killing this brat now!"
The leader screamed and rushed forward while transforming into his beast form. Following his order the other four men also started morphing into their beast forms.
Kojou finally raised his head to look at the therianthropes and then used his familiar.
"Come, Alrescha-Glacies!"
And the five of them were instantly frozen to death. Alongwith the warehouse, which was made up of ice now.
Seeing this the scarred man, already on the brink of madness, finally broke down.
"No-no-no, this isn't supposed to go like this. I do not want to die without-without avenging my brother. I will kill you!!! I WILL KILL YOU!!!"
The man ran at full speed at Kojou. But this time again Kojou called out his familiar.
"Come, Mesarthim-Adamas!"
And the man was hit with diamonds like shotgun shells. His body was pierced by the diamonds like paper and he fell down before he could even process what had happened.
Kojou looked at him one last time and said in a cold voice.
"Maybe you were wronged by MAR or my mom, but that doesn't give you the right to attack my sister. Meet your brother above in heaven and repent!"
Saying so Kojou silently walked away, not caring to look back or clear the evidence. Asagi had already taken care of the cameras and anything that could have given away his identity.
The ice will melt off and the diamonds, well they can be used as a diversion for the investigation team.
As long as Kojou let his vampire instincts take over, he doesn't feel much emotions when killing people or doing anything bad.
But when he stops being a vampire, it will hit him like a truck, the guilt, the fear and all the emotions at once.
Kojou didn't make any detours and went straight back to his home. He was determined that this was the only time he will feel like this, after this he will be the 4th Primogenitor, in name and action, both.

Kojou went home and didn't have any sex with Asagi, the two of them just laid in each other's embrace for the night.
Nagisa was unaware of the things that happened that night. Next day both Asagi and Kojou acted normal and went back to their normal lifestyle.
And so another month passed by like this. There was a small periodic test at the school and as always Asagi was number one while Kojou barely passed, being busy with his vampire activities.
One thing that Kojou noticed was that compared to the first familiar, Mesarthim-Adamas the twelfth familiar, Alrescha-Glacies was more responsive.
It showed more human-like emotions, Kojou and Asagi chalked it up to the side effects of being locked up in a teenage girl for months.

Currently Kojou is in a big predicament.
Nagisa is in front of him, in her school uniform, while he is naked having just come out of the shower.
But this could be chalked up to bad timing, but the problem is
"Kojou-kun,have sex with me!!"
"Nagisa, that is a very wrong thing to say!"
"Aren't I already your wife, unofficially. Our blood relation ended when you became the 4th Primogenitor, the laws don't apply to you and according to Asagi they don't apply to me either."
'What are you teaching her, Asagi!!'
"Listen Nagisa, let's postpone this, Okay. You are young and it is not ethical."
"Kojou-kun, I and Asagi-chan have already read the Japanese law, it's all Okay. As this is completely conceptual and we are within five years of age."
'How did it come to this? But I vowed to become a true Primogenitor, I must move forward!'
Thinking so, Kojou steeled himself and moved forward!!
Seeing the intensity in Kojou's eye Nagisa was a bit concerned but remained steadfast as ever, today is the day she finally gets to see what Kojou does to Asagi.
Just then the gate opened and Asagi walked in, on a naked Kojou advancing towards a defenceless Nagisa, while having a determined gaze.
"What the fuck is happening, here!!"
Kojou turned his head hearing the voice and said in panicked
"Wait, Asagi, I can explain!!"
