The time seemed to be frozen once Meena moved. 

Meria was impressed by her fast action and wanted to recruit her.

His desire must have shown on his face because Meena immediately shot him down before he opened his mouth.

"I am sorry, but my loyalty is reserved for the Saintess. I can assist you in my free time if you want me to."

Meena promised, and Meria felt ashamed to have gotten caught staring at her.

Eric also made a jealous face before he pulled Meena close to himself.

"Yeah, general, get someone else to be close to you. Meena is mine, so you cannot have her. But maybe I will allow you to 'borrow' her if you beg me nicely."

Eric teased, and it caused Meria to let out a startled laugh.

"Don't worry. I am not looking to take Meena away from you."

Meena's face had a barely visible blush while she had the Saintess's arms around her.
