"Do you know who the culprit is?"
Arias knew the truth had surfaced when he saw Neptune's expression change.
Princess Otohime's impact on the world was relatively minor, so identifying her assassin wouldn't cause significant disruption.
As Arias and Neptune reappeared outside the inner realm, everyone around them stared nervously. They had only witnessed Arias saying something about finding the answer, placing his hand on Neptune's shoulder, and then both of them going still.
The onlookers, unsure of what to do, surrounded them and waited for them to awaken.
"Brother Arias, what happened to you and Father just now?" Little Shirahoshi asked eagerly as soon as they opened their eyes.
Arias smiled and replied, "Go and find the real culprit."
"Find the real culprit?" Shirahoshi asked, bewildered. Neither she nor Otohime could believe that merely closing one's eyes could reveal the murderer.
However, Neptune's words took them by surprise.
"The real culprit is Bodhidharma!"
"Bodhidharma?" Arias repeated, puzzled. Bodhidharma was the short, cigar-smoking shark from Fishman Street with steel teeth who had been present when Arias defeated Hody Jones. He had even tried to incite a rebellion against Arias, accusing Neptune of harboring humans.
"Wasn't he already arrested? How could he have shot Otohime?" Arias wondered aloud.
Neptune's face darkened. "He escaped from prison two days ago. I thought he'd be punished for his crimes, so I didn't plan to pursue him further. I never imagined he would seek revenge by assassinating Otohime!"
"This villain must not be overlooked!" Neptune declared angrily, rushing off to order the capture of Bodhidharma.
Arias watched him leave and shook his head. It seemed Neptune wasn't concerned with finding Bodhidharma's hiding place before apprehending him.
Turning to Shirahoshi, Arias asked, "Would you like to join the New Year's party at Nine Snake Island?"
Shirahoshi's face lit up with excitement. "Can I really go?"
Of course, she wanted to experience the outside world. Last time, Arias hadn't taken her along, but now she felt it was safe.
"Princess, is it alright if she comes?" Arias asked Otohime.
Otohime nodded. "Yes, Shirahoshi can go with you."
"Yay!" Shirahoshi exclaimed joyfully. "Brother Arias, can I bring my friend?"
"Your friend?" Arias asked, curious.
Shirahoshi was referring to Koala, who had stayed on Fishman Island. Koala, a disciple of Tiger who practiced Fish-Man Karate, had become good friends with Shirahoshi. After Otohime's attack, Tiger had gone off to track the assassin, leaving Koala behind.
When Arias went to fetch Koala, he found her accompanied by another little mermaid, Camie, who was also Shirahoshi's friend.
Arias led them onto his spiritual sword and surrounded them with a layer of white clouds to shield them from the wind pressure, as they were too delicate to withstand the high speed.
Upon their return to Nine Snake Island, the mermaids' charming appearance captured everyone's attention, and they quickly mingled with the locals. The party went on until dawn, but the younger ones, including Shirahoshi and her friends, fell asleep by around two in the morning.
Arias retired with his wives to their bedroom. Outside, Yamato was still drinking with some of the island's top female warriors. Her enhanced stamina allowed her to keep going strong.
In the midst of the festivities, the door suddenly swung open, halting all activity. Everyone turned to see Yamato, who, having consumed too much alcohol, was confused and disoriented.
She realized the atmosphere in the room was intimate and her physical reaction made her blush deeply. Embarrassed, she tried to retreat, but was lifted up by a white cloud and placed onto the bed with a gasp.
"You're here and want to leave?" Arias's voice rang out.
Yamato, her mind clouded by alcohol, struggled with her feelings. After some awkward moments, she joined the others for dinner, where her blushing and discomfort were noticed by Hiyori.
"Yamato, why are you here with Brother Arias and the others?" Hiyori asked, surprised. She had last seen Yamato in the same dormitory and had expected her to be there.
Hiyori's eyes widened with realization. "Wait! Didn't Yamato say she was a man?"
Observing Yamato and Arias's interactions more closely, she wondered about the nature of their relationship. She approached Yamato quietly, "Yamato, you and Brother Arias...?"
Yamato nodded. "Yes."
She wasn't one to shy away from the truth. Now that it was out in the open, she spoke up boldly.
Hiyori gasped, "Oh my goodness!"
Arias smiled and added, "We're getting married at the end of the month. I've sent invitations to Rayleigh, Shakky, and Kaido. It will be a grand event."
"I wonder what Kaido's reaction will be," he mused.
After the meal, Arias delivered invitations to Rayleigh, Shakky, and Kaido.
Rayleigh, who was on an island, received his invitation and commented, "Yamato is Kaido's daughter? I remember him from when he was just a super soldier on Rocks's ship. I had a feeling he would make a significant impact."
Arias then visited Sabaody to invite Shakky, who promised she would attend.
Finally, he arrived at Ghost Island where Kaido was drinking heavily.
"Kaido!" Arias announced, his figure appearing in mid-air as the Yang God.
"Who?" Kaido looked up, recognizing Arias after a moment. "You're Arias?"
Kaido had previously ignored Arias's identity, but now his curiosity was piqued.
Arias proclaimed, "At the end of the month, Yamato and I are getting married! Welcome to the family, Father-in-law!"
An invitation fluttered down to Kaido's hand, completing the announcement.
